I have just asked for my first-ever extension on a paper. I have finals on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and the paper is due Wednesday... Oh yeah, and it's a philosophy paper. If anyone wants to help me out, here is the prompt:
In chapter three of Reason Truth and History, Putnam defends a middle ground between what he calls Metaphysical Realism and relativism. Explain and evaluate his view.
Sounds easy enough, right? Well, you obviously haven't read _Reason, Truth and History_. Oh wait. I haven't read it either. That could be part of the problem.
Finals weeks like this make me really see what the difference is between needing 15 credits to graduate and needing 68. (Any opinions on which I should choose?)
