Every year my aunt in Malaysia sends me a birthday card which my cousins make, along with pictures of them - they're the counsins who i'm always going "cootchie cootchie coo, you're sho cute, gimme a cuddle" to, even though the oldest one's now 8. But they're still my adorable little cousins and I love them like anything.
Anyway, this year not only did I get photos of my cousins with my card, but she sent back a photo of when I was a kid as well as a photo of my parents when they were dating. And since I love them so much, I scanned them in to share.
This was in my grandparent's home - since when was my dad so skinny?! The house looks...pretty much the same now as it did then.
I think this was taken in the park at our old home at Cottenham Avenue. I'm just surprised i'm smiling - I usually hated it when I got my picture taken. I wonder if I ever ate that biscuit i'm holding...
So tomorrow's not looking so bright - quiz at one and i'm so freaking screwed. Oh Mel, I must do some arranging with you about your Sydney schedule. I will talk to you about that later.
Anyway, saw X-Men on Saturday and whilst the absence of Nightcrawler was disappointing and made me weep inside, the Fastball Special (twice!) and the amazingness of Beast fighting totally made up for it. And whilst Angel did pretty much nothing except fly around, he looked so pretty flying around. Or at least his wings did. They were just so gorgeous.
