Help from musically knowledgeable people

Monday April 13th. In New York City. For the Spiderman Broadway musical, because there are open auditions and because I can. I obviously don't expect anything to come of it, and it's mostly for the fun of having the story to tell, but I still worry about making a fool of myself and want to put in a good showing.

I'm a lyric soprano, can belt in the mezzo range, mostly crap for alto range, though I have been working on extending it. I don't quite have the coloratura flexibility to show off, but I am quite proud of my expression. I have been told by a lot of people that I act more while I am singing than most classically trained singers they know, so I would love to show that off. I'd prefer a song where some interesting character work gets done, not just a set piece for technique. I feel pretty comfortable with most song subject matter, except for anything that assumes the character is overly sexy, if only because I always get cast as an awkward girl, so I feel self-conscious that I will be judged as not sexy enough for the song (neurotic, I know), so something like "When you got it, flaunt it", for example, would probably be out.
