earlier today, a severely epileptic friend of mine had to make the sad and totally unexpected decision to have her companion animal euthanased.
since I found out, my 2 haven't let me out of their sight.

I had to do the same to Milo cat - she would have been 16 this April - still stumbling over the empty spaces - sympathies to yr friend -

thank you. i think there will be a large hole for a long time, as it was totally unexpected. it is never easy, no matter how long we have shared lives.

My girl of almost 17 years was in pretty rough shape... we brought her to the vet last Friday. It seems to be a really rough time for our loved ones; I've heard of four others who've passed. :(

I bet they'll have a party, though, by the Rainbow Bridge.

he was beautiful, but truly a companion animal.
and yes, he and his sister were named from 'Cats'
