Those who tried to catch a small object in the sky into a camera focus in complete darkness in -26°C weather, especially when the camera is standing on a tripod, would understand the effort that went into this. I finally got something halfway decent at 10pm or so when the Moon got a bit brighter. Here it is.

Wasn't quite as cold in Nevada, but I understand your effort to some extent! I didn't catch the two stars in my pictures, but I thought their position made the whole thing look even more awesome

It's so cool to see the difference between the view from NYC and the view from Minnesota. Hope you got back inside to some hot cocoa afterwards. Awesome shot!

It was way too cloudy here to see a thing. (Not that I would have gotten up at 3:30 am to watch it anyway...)
