(no subject)
We just went in to Tow Zone Studios with the Dundee Crown Jazz Band to record 5 charts, "Flight of the Foo Birds" (Count Basie), "Smack Dab in the Middle" (Ray Charles, different arrangement), "Altered States" (Mike Tomaro), "Somba De Los Gatos" (???), and Angel Eyes (Frank Mantooth?). It was actually quite a fun experience and just went to show us how easy some people get nervous. There was nothing really that stood out, but it was something that I definitely enjoyed and convinced me to work on the little things that I have yet to master on my trombone playing. I also started to tell Bettcher that I was going back to Elgin. He wasn't happy at all, as if he really cared though. I know deep down he really doesn't like me. But ill hear what hes got to say tomorra.
