Fuck that means that I’m gonna see her two days in a row! Unless I don’t go to jujitsu....No, no I can’t do that, I’m not gonna run away. I’ve gotta stand up to her and be the bigger person. Don’t let our personal lives interfere with our professional lives. God what am I saying? Of course it’s gonna get involved together I mean, look at Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant in “Two weeks notice” and with her and Ryan Reynolds in “The Proposal” and what about Hugh Grant and Renee Zellweger in “Bridget Jones”?! They ALL ended up getting together in the end. Some happy endings and some not so happy. And I aint living no movie! Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock really need to keep it in their pants when it comes to business....that’s twice that’s both happened to them. And plenty of times to my mother as well. It’s bound to run in the family. Why am I worrying for? I shouldn’t be worrying unless I’m gonna get with her....what if what Dylan said was right? What if I am in love with her unknowingly? Shut up brain, you’re doing too much thinking, I AM NOT in love with Sian Powers. I just slept with another girl. Who I don’t really know or like. And who I’m gonna have to face pretty soon. That’s gonna be awks!! Oh God, shall I ring her? Shall I wait for her to call me like she said she would? Should I just leave it till jujitsu? What the hell am I gonna say to her when the time comes? FML!!
BEEPBEEP
Oh fuck off Sian!! Oh its Jenna.
“Hello?”
“Heyyyy Soph, its me.”
“He-hey Jen, I was just thinking about you”, I giggled nervously.
“You were? Well I was obviously thinking about you”, she giggled back.
Fuck I’m giving her the wrong impression. “Err....Jen I think we need to talk”, I signed while closing my eyes.
“Ooh, that’s never a good sign”, she breathed out a nervous laugh.
“Erm well, prob-probably something that....you’re erm not particularly wanna gonna hear”, I said slowly and hesitantly.
“Can’t we just talk now and get it over and done with?” Jenna asked, sounding rather assertive.
“I think I owe it to you that we talk face to face.”
“Ya know what, you don’t have to, I know what you’re gonna say anyway so you can save your breath”, Jenna said in quite an understanding way. Usually people say that really sarcastically and to be honest that last part did sound a little sarcastic but....surprisingly the rest wasn’t....
“Jen, let me explain this time please?”
“Soph, it’s fine. I do understand and....I....I’ll see you at jujitsu if you’re still going”, she sighed.
“Yea I’m not backing down now”, I replied. There was a little pause as I was slightly confused.
“I’ll see ya there then Soph.”
“Yea....see ya then.”
“Bye.”
I put the phone down, looking straight ahead with near tears in my eyes. Even though it was a complete relief I thought that she really liked me and wouldn’t go without a fight. She obviously didn’t like me as much as I thought otherwise she would have fought for me. Well I would have guessed anyways....wow that was a complete blow. Don’t I feel loved! Ughr this shit is gonna have to wait for now....

“I’m coming with ya Soph”, Dylan put bluntly.
“No Dil, that will look bad on me. Having someone to hold my hand when I’m s’pose to be professional?” I questioned.
“Just say that I’m there as your business partner and to make sure that there’s no misunderstanding. Like a witness in case you miss anything”, the gangly man suggested.
“I dunno. I guess that would be a good idea. And I would have that backing from you just in case anything does happen. And you would calm my nerves as well”, I thought out loud while biting on my finger nails.
“Exactly! There ya go!” he smiled.
“Oohh I dunno”, I whined.
“Why not?! I thought it was a genius idea personally”, he stated rather smug.
“Hmf.”

“I knew this was a bad idea. You should go Dil. You shouldn’t be here”, I panicked.
“Don’t be a div Soph, c’mon. I am here as your business partner. We are working together here. In more ways than one”, Dylan said trying to calm me with our arms linked, as he was pretty much dragging me along.
“No. No. Go away. I don’t want you here”, I tried masking, in an attempt to make him go at any cost.
“Soph, stop being a pussy. You’ve done it before and that was by yourself.”
“We’re here”, I gasped. “Go before she sees us by accident.” Dylan ignored me completely and continued to drag me to the front of the cafe. “Dil. Dylan! Dylan Humphry you let go of me right now!” I was shouting through clenched teeth while he barged me through the door, I paused for a second to catch my breath and looked around. It was really quiet and empty. It contrasted itself from the last time I was here. Everywhere was darkened with dimed lights scattered on the walls. The back however was still dark, isolated and desolate. I leant back and said quietly, “We’re gonna get ambushed.” My voice was shaky along with the rest of my body. Dylan nudged me which made me hop forward. He had certainly mastered that.
Prick.
As I started to walk slowly forward, I was starting to feel like Hermione Granger when she’s pretending to be Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter when they go in to Gringotts; my footsteps were the only sound, breaking every inch of silence there was engulfing us, looking around cautiously in case I got caught out even though I had nothing to be caught out from....people lifting their heads from their own worlds to acknowledge my presence, purely for their own curiosity.
But the thing was, I am me. I wasn’t anyone else and it was nothing like Harry Potter, even though every time I was near Sian I felt a rush through my body.
In reality there were people chatting quietly, cups and mugs being cleaned and stacked, latte’s being made and the light was probably bright but the light in my eyes was fading and everything seems somewhat darker.
We had finally ventured to the back of the room. I swear she does that on purpose so she can see me coming, building the suspension. She probably has ex-ray vision so she can see behind her book. And read minds....
“Sophie”, Sian smiled looking up at me. “Good to see you again.”
“Sian”, I replied coldly shaking her hand.
“Oh and I see you’ve brought a friend with you”, she smiled sarcastically acknowledging Dylan.
“This....is...my....business partner, Dylan Humphry”, I tried saying clearly so she understood what I was getting at. “He’s here to make sure that everything is in order, in case we have any misunderstanding and to take any important information there might be”, I informed her with a fake smile, bullshitting my way through the explanation without a pause so she wouldn’t question me.
“Ooh so like a little assistant. In case you can’t keep up with me”, she sarcastically stated again while taking Dylan’s hand. “Sian Powers”, she said a little too eagerly. Dylan simply took her hand and nodded politely. “Well....let’s get down to this then shall we?”
<3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3><3>
“Sorry folks, we’re closing up now.”
“But it’s only 5:40.”
“Yeaa sorry love. We’re open late tomorrow to compensate if you wanna come back then?” the young kind boy smiled.
“We’ll come back then”, Dylan smiled and nodded. He’d been doing that all night, practically being the peace maker and calmer person. Seemed to be calming Sian down anyway, although I didn’t know if she was showing off because there was another person here or to show that she was kind in front of someone else and she clearly did not like me at all or to prove that she wasn’t the person that I made her out to be.
“It was lovely meeting you Dylan and I hope to see you again soon”, Sian said charmingly taking Dylan’s hand once more.
“Likewise Sian”, he smiled back. A bit too smiley for my liking actually so I nudged him to get him out of that stupid smile. He cleared his throat before saying, “Actually there is a possibility that you will be seeing both of us very soon. Jujitsu? Tomorrow? If-if you still go?” he questioned.
“Oh yes of course, I almost forgot”, Sian smiled. “I’ll be there.”
“Great, well....we will definitely see you soon then”, Dylan breathed a laugh.
“Of course. Sophie, always a pleasure”, she said turning to me. I knew she was being sarcastic yet again as she had been all night but I shook her hand none the less.
“Always”, I smiled back, narrowing my eyes.
We exited the cafe before Sian as she was gathering her belongings. I looked round to see that she was still occupied and took this as my opportunity....
“You fucking idiot Dylan! If you didn’t mention it then she wouldn’t have come to jujitsu!” I hissed, trying to keep my restricted at the same time while hitting him on the arm numerous times.
“Ow, Soph, pack it in! You better thank me for asking cuz you would have been stressed out all day tomorrow wondering if she would actually turn up or not! Oh Dylan, will she show? Wont she? What if she floors me again? Oh Dylan I don’t think I wanna go. Shall I go? What if she’s there and I make a prick outta myself again Dylan? Hide me Dylan!” he mocked in a whiney voice.
I stood there with my arms crossed, grinding my teeth together with a death stare plastered all over my face. “You are not funny. Thanks to you, she’s definitely coming now and I can’t even think about it anymore! Now I’m gonna have to go for sure!”
“You don’t have to go Soph.”
“Of course I do! Don’t be stupid. If I don’t then she knows that she has got the better of me”, I said starting to sound whiney again.
“Bye guys”, Sian waved.
“See ya”, Dylan waved enthusiastically back. I didn’t move from my position.
“Let’s get ya home aye.”
“I am not going home with you”, I slapped him again. “You’ve ruined my life!”
I could hear Dylan laughing out loud while I was walking away. He seemed to find the funny side in everything to do with me suffering. In all honesty, I was trying to hold back the laughter myself. It was certainly one of those situations where I didn’t know whether to laugh or to cry.
