I'm slowly importing my 5k+ mp3 collection into iTunes on my desktop PC, with the intention of syncing my iPod to it so I've got a fair amount of music to listen to on my 2 week Melbourne adventure, and then also some for when I go on holiday mid next month.
I've had to fix a lot of the ID3 tags, and I keep accidentally playing a lot of the songs.. One of them, I remember from like year 11.
don't stop dancing, by Creed
At times life is wicked and I just can’t see the light
A silver lining sometimes isn’t enough
To make some wrongs seem right
Whatever life brings
I’ve been through everything
And now I’m on my knees again
But I know I must go on
Although I hurt I must be strong
Because inside I know that many feel this way
Children don’t stop dancing
Believe you can fly away (away)
very 'dark'
lyrics, with powerful rock/guitar backing music.
Looking back, I was in a crazy place then. Listening to this music, I remember how I felt, but it really doesn't feel like me anymore: like I'm remembering someone else.
I guess this is a good thing. I've grown up, moved on. Hmm.
