House ran his hand against the ache in his leg. He hates rain. Even just the smell of rain in the air. His leg throbs. Earlier, he shared his hatred of rain with his team. Cameron's response echoes in his mind, “April showers bring May flowers.” He pulls a bottle from his pocket. He spins it around slowly. No matter how much rain, he knows no flowers will grow around him. He tugs the lid off the bottle, and slips out a few pills. He doesn’t remember how many he’s already had today. But in the end it doesn’t matter.
