Steamy
Her lips feel cold and numb because he has abandoned them. Just for a moment, just so he can catch his breath and clear his head. His collar is askew and his hair is tousled from her greedy, wandering fingers. His lips are swollen and ruddy from her hungry, possessive mouth. She thinks it's a good look on him. She's feeling like she wants to claim him but she's not sure how or why.
He looks back at her for a minute as if he's contemplating something, as if he's carefully calculating his next move. She has seen this expression on his face before but she doesn't quite know what to make of it. She does know that she likes it and that it makes her feel like she's falling.
He seems to have come to some sort of resolution as he places one hand on her narrow waist and the other cups her face. He begins to slowly pull her towards him again. Her heart leaps and her stomach flutters when his lips return to tend to hers with renewed vigor, with religious ministration. She resumes tugging on his collar, before lacing her delicate fingers through his soft, luscious hair. The hand that gently rests on her jaw and lovingly cups her face is softly stroking her shorn locks. The hand that sits on her waist begins to travel down to the curve of her back, gripping her tightly.
She whimpers softly into his mouth and he pulls away abruptly. He always pulls away. He always leaves her wanting more. She assumes that he has had his fill and that she's the gluttonous, insatiable one.
"Where are you going?" she pants. It was meant to be a question, but it comes out a needy plea.
"For a walk," he heaves, his voice a bit strained, a bit pained, "I need to blow off some steam."
