Civilian consultant Howard Stark barely listened to Col. Phillips, eyes wandering around the others at the field briefing. His glance fell on Steve Rogers, resentfully.
Here we all are bundled up like Eskimos and there’s Rogers in his regular gear, looking fresh as a daisy in June, he thought, eyes moving on. No wonder Peggy’s staring at him like he’s good enough to eat.
“Ah-HEM. Mr. Stark? Your attention, please?” Chester Phillips growled. Between the Brains, the Brawn and the Broad, it was gonna be a long campaign.
