Wasting Time or Creative Journey
Okay, I have declared that I am spending FAR too much time on the internet, namely on my LJ. When I get up in the morning, I check my email to see my inbox. Get ready for work, go to work, my work computer is of course, online so....i do my work WHILE messing around on my LJ. Spend 9 hours at work going between my work and LJ. Go home...what do I do....you guessed it, spend the remaining hours of my waking day on my computer....on my LJ!
And you know what?! I really LIKE it!! I bet you all were thinking that I was complaining! Well I wasn't. I've been meeting such cool people and talking about all my favorite things and the best thing? I'm getting creative again. Yes, in over 3 years of doing absolutely nothing creative, I am getting that little spark back. Now don't quote me on this (which is hard to say since I just typed it) but maybe...just maybe I might wanna write again.
Who knows...Maybe I just really enjoy being this geeky and tethered to a computer. Now that I sit here and think about it, the only time I'm not on a computer, online is the 40 minutes each way to drive from work to home.
Pathetic you say....no. No I don't think so. Yes, sunlight is my natural enemy now and yes, my eyes could possibly be evolving to accept the artifical glare from the screen as naturally as it would regular sunlight but you know what....I'm happy with that.
And I'm sure you guys would prefer that I just...stop talking and let us all get back to looking at our Friends pages. Which is exactly what I was thinking too.....
