Awesome weekend
This weekend was awesome!!! we (roomie and me) got a sweet travel deal..niagara, wonderland and thousand islands, 3 days and 2 nights for $207(base price was 160 inclusive of one breakfast and 2 night's accomodation, and wonderland trip was 33 while thousand island tour was 14)...
so first day we embarked to the thousand islands..i've never been there before so i was looking forward to the experience..we reached there in about two hours..we got on this awesome ferry(top deck btw) and started clicking pictures of cool islands with nice looking houses..there was also the world's shortest international bridge as well..i think it spanned about 3m or so..cool..and then we saw the other side of the st.laurent river..the us side..we saw da bilionaire strip where billionaires stay apparently..saw more nice islands and soon the hour was over..lunch time..nice chinese buffet at Kingston and soon it was time to move along to the next destination..

in the evening, we got to Niagara falls..this would be my third time there..i expected the same things but to my surprise,there was a cool NEW FERRIS WHEEL!! I had to get on...so after meeting a friend from brock uni, the three of us(roomie,friend,me) went for a ride on the ferris wheel..awesomeview..my first time on the ferris wheel btw..so was a BLAST!! After a few more moments together, my friend had to leave since she had a ride to catch..my roomie and i then checked in at the hotel afterwhich, we went around exploring and got some Boston Pizza in our stomachs..i liked the atmosphere in there..was really cool..we then rested..

Next day, was a WHOLE FRIGGIN DAY AT WONDERLAND!!! from 10.30am to 11pm..it was ma 4th time there and i was kinda done and bored by the time the clock struck 5..the major highlights were the new rides that i hadn't done yet(psyclone,italian job,shock wave etc), the stunt show and the canada day firework display at night...o btw..we are so damn cheap people..we tried to save money on food by buyin doritos from 7-eleven near the hotel that morning and having that for lunch..bleah...BAD IDEA!! My stomach wasn't feeling too good that day especially after the churning sensation from the rides we did..bad experience...but the foot-long hot dog was awesome at night tho..a bit too pricy but i thot that it was worth it..

Final day started awesome with a breakfast buffet..and then it was off to the CN tower and city hall...i believe scenes from Resident Evil 2 were shot there..awesome place..but i have been to downtown toronto countless times so wasn't really an eye opener...following that, we went to pacific mall..some famous chinese mall in TO..i was expecting really cheap stuff but lo and behold..friggin chinese peeps were tryin to rip ppl off or somehting..a shirt cost like 95 friggin bucks!! And man were the shop keepers suffering from severe pre-menstural syndrome...rude indeed..seemd like they did not want customers in their shope or something..wadeva..
then we headed back to Ottawa and ma sweet weekend came to an end...
