Miss Me?
Yeah, I've been away from this journal [and from the internet basically] for the past few weeks. Many reasons for that: College is back on [lot of reading for that], family stuff, and just for various personal reasons. It's just nice hanging out with people without thinking about when my next Danger TV episode is coming out [October, guys]. Just been chillin' and enjoying other things.
My grandma's health is getting worse, slowly each day. She looks frail and has a hard time even standing up without falling. It's been pretty sad, since she is like a shadow of her former self most of the time. My mother already said the "D" word, which I'm not even gonna think about right now. But I've been visiting her more and more each day, just in case, ya know? She was practically my mom, raising me when my mother had to work. She's very important to me and I dunno what I would do if she were to... Anyway, that's all I wanna say about that.
I saw Resident Evil: Apocalypse its first weekend. I enjoyed it for what it was: a brainless, action film. Definitely better than the first and I can't wait for the third one, Afterlife [yes, the ending left it open for a sequel]. Should be cool and Milla Jonovich kicks major ass. The girl who played Jill Valentine was hot too. Loved the outfit [if you played RE 3, you know which one I'm talking about].
I also saw Shawn of the Dead this weekend. Hilarious. A must-see for horror and comedy fans alike. I think you would enjoy it more if you saw the original 1978 Dawn of the Dead, because it parodies that, but either way, you'll get a kick out of it. Both movies are highly recommended.
Been playing WWE Day of Reckoning for Gamecube non-stop this weekend. The gameplay is good but the moves are lacking. Plus that AI in the story mode is TOO hard. How da fuck is Ric Flair pinning me after he received 5 Sweet Chin Musics and 3 Triple German Suplexes from me? Ugh, if they can't make a game right, don't make it at all. But the story mode is okay and overall, the best GC wrestling game out there. Now if only I can get my hands on Def Jam...
Anyway, that's all I got to say right now. I'm going to try and update as much as I can. Can't promise that though. By the way, didn't the season premiere of Smallville kick ass? Yep, it sure did. We need more half-naked Lana LoL.
