*Sterling’s speech was cut off and he gamely stood on stage as if by merely standing there they would stop playing him off, but it didn’t work. But in the press room he was given a chance to complete his speech where he thanked the show’s creator Dan Fogelman in length and his wife/costar Ryan Michelle Bathe and their kids.
With Sterling’s “This is Us” when, that show was the only network show this year to win at the Emmys. Everything else was cable or streaming platforms.

It’s not biological kids vs. adopted kids situation it’s a ‘my kids view me as a suppressive because of their sci-fi religion” situation.
