*Sterling’s speech was cut off and he gamely stood on stage as if by merely standing there they would stop playing him off, but it didn’t work. But in the press room he was given a chance to complete his speech where he thanked the show’s creator Dan Fogelman in length and his wife/costar Ryan Michelle Bathe and their kids.

With Sterling’s “This is Us” when, that show was the only network show this year to win at the Emmys. Everything else was cable or streaming platforms.

*In Kidman’s speech she thanked her two children with Keith Urban which left people online feeling a kinda way. Yes, she has two children with Tom Cruise but what can she do when they’ve exiled her from their life? Yvonne Strahovski in Julien Macdonald

Priyanka Chopra

Sofia Vergara in Mark Zunino

*Sofia brought her son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara to the ceremony. Manolo is an actor and great at social media.

Sarah Hyland

Mandy Moore
*I don’t like the contrasting color. It would have worked as all black. The white is too distracting.

Judith Light in a leg off with Ariel Winter

Ariel Winter

Felicity Huffman in Tony Ward

Jenifer Lewis

Rita Moreno and her “One Day at a Time” costar Justine Machado

Rachel Bloom in Gucci

*Does she not have mirrors where she lives? This doesn’t even fit.

Samantha Bee

Anika Noni Rose

Anna Chlumsky in Sachin & Babi

Julianne Hough in Marchesa
*It looks like she got into a bird fight.

Jane Fonda in Brandon Maxwell

Carrie Bronstein
*The side zipper already makes me love this dress.

Angela Sarafyan (Westworld)

Ellie Kemper in Jenny Packham
*While I’m against short dresses at award shows, I would have preferred that over the misguided sheer hem overlay.

Leslie Jones in Cristian Sirano

*Leslie recently celebrated her 50th birthday making her the oldest castmember on SNL.

Eff it up, birthday girl!

Viola Davis in Zac Posen

Chrissy Metz

Justin Hartley
*YES, SMALLVILLE’S OLIVER QUEEN IS AT THE EMMYS!!!!! And not the Daytime Emmys, the real one!

Susan Keletchi Watson

Claire Foy in Oscar dela Renta

*Surprising to me is that Foy has been cast as Lisabeth Salander in the sequel to “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”, a role played by Noomi Rapace and Rooney Mara.

Vanessa Bayer (Saturday Night Live)

Tessa Thompson
*How many episodes of “Westworld” was she even in to get an invite?

Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade
* A double knockout! They both look sensational.

Tracee Ellis Ross in Chanel
*Her mother is Diana Ross. You would think she would have a better sense of style.

Sarah Paulson in Caroline Herrera

**Paulson is remaining in the Ryan Murphy business. She is currently in “American Horror Story: Cult” and she will star in Murphy’s “Nurse Rachid” orgins story series.

Uzo Aduba in Sally LaPointe

Tatiana Maslany and beau Tom Cullen

Heidi Klum

*Evan and her fiancé/ bandmate recently split as her ex-husband Jaime Bell wed the less weird Mara sister, Kate during the summer.

j

Emmy Rossum

Amanda Crew

Reese Witherspoon in Stella McCartney

While Reese is having a deserved moment, her ex Ryan Phillippe is being a thot on Instagram.

**Ryan busted up his leg which caused a shortened season for his series “Shooter”.

Susan Sarandon in Zac Posen, Jessica Lange in Gucci

B.D Wong

Kiernan Shipka in Miu Miu

Chris Sullivan (This is Us)
*At the DGA S1 “This is Us” Finale one of the mods commented on his flair for fashion and he said it’s because he doesn’t have a publicist. Nah, I think he really likes showboating…and it’s great!

Allison Janney

Kathryn Hahn
*I love her bedhead but not this shapeless sack of a dress.

Angela Bassett killing the game!

Lea Michele
*I absolutely love this plum dress. If only the waist wasn’t cinched.

Tituss Burgess

Jimmi Simpson

Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton
*The couple are expecting their second child.

O.T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale)

Matt Bomer

*Matt is back on the unemployment line. His very recent Amazon series “The Last Tycoon” was not picked up for a second season. It is just the latest cancellation by Amazon joining the other F. Scott Fitzgerald centered series “Zelda” starring Christina Ricci.

David Harbour

**An image of Harbour as Hellboy for the upcoming reboot hit the interwebs.

The production was tangled up in controversy when Ed Skrein (Deadpool, Game of Thrones) was hired to play a character that is of Asian descent in the comics. With a few weeks Skrein announced he was leaving the role due to the belief it should be cast appropriately. Daniel Dae Kim late of “Hawaii Five 0” is replacing him.

Joel chilling with fellow Swede Alexander Skarsgard

Liev Schreiber with son Kai

*Since his split with Naomi Watts, Liev has been taking his sons to awards shows. The last one he took eldest son Sasha.

Brian Tyree Henry

Zach Galifinakis
*Really keeping that weight off.

**Let’s see if Jonah Hill can do the same.

Billy Eichner
*Is the reason I don’t see Chris Isaaks anywhere anymore is that Billy Eichner took over his body?

The male cast of “Stranger Things

Shannon Purser (Stranger Things)
