I never once saw anyone question Brian and Justin’s relationship or saying it was an uneven power dynamic and early on, Brian was really toxic for Justin. I do remember there being some shock over the age difference in the UK version (from critics, at least.) Armie does not look 24 any more than Tom W. looked 14 in season 1 of SV. But it doesn't matter, he looks good and there wouldn't be this kind of fussing if it was a film with a 17 year old girl. (Even if it was two girls - there was a considerable age gap in "Blue is the warmest colour")
Loretta Devine will be returning in her S1 role. I will be extremely annoyed if they bring back Missouri just to kill her off and turn the granddaughter to hunting. This will probably happen.
Tom Ellis is acting as if he’s happy but he’s destroyed that he’s not the best looking person on the show anymore Nah, he's happy in the realization his first slash ship is being born, right in this moment! Cue up the Tom on Tom fics!
First Tom gets on Instagram, surely thanks to his girlfriend Jessie ::fistbump::, now he’s working and he has even recorded an interview on Michael Rosenbaum’s podcast. I cannot wait for this interview. Last night, interviewing 2/5 of the R5 boys, Michael commented that his drink "tasted worse than eating your bleached blonde asses!" I can only hope for a similar ribaldry applied to Thomas.

As implausible as Stockard Channing as a teenager in Grease. Armie just made 30 and looks like's closer to 40.
Even if it was two girls - there was a considerable age gap in "Blue is the warmest colour")
When people bring up that age gap in other forums the fallback is that it's different because the optics in Call Me By Your Name is worse because compared to Armie Timothee looks like a child. Meanwhile Twilight with a 200 year old vampire wasn't an issue. And unlike Robert Pattison Armie doesn't look like he got hit in the face with a shovel.
