King Hater Ian has also moved behind the scenes to the director’s chair. L’il Ian directed “The Vampire Diaries” 16th episode, ‘The Downward Spiral” which was co-written by “Smallville” writer Caroline Dries.

*Ian and Paul have directed episodes of their shows. Has Jensen Ackles? Why yes he has. Several. But one thing he hasn’t done yet is become a producer on the show. But know who has added producer to their title?

Yes, Javier from the Very Special! Smallville episode “Subterranean” returns to “Teen Wolf” as co-producer in its fifth season.
Tyler recently took to his Youtube channel to post a very personal video. He lost his mother to cancer in December so he posted a video detailing how he’s coping.

Proceeds from Posey’s shirt went to Cystic Fibrosis. I don’t know where (if) proceeds are going towards for Jensen’s. Maybe the “Jensen “my wife doesn’t work, I have a giant boyfriend to feed and if I don’t he’ll leave me for a Canadian with a high voice and more attractive cousin and I’m still not a producer” Ackles Fund.
Let it not be said that I don’t give props where props are due. Looking at the titles of SPN’s 200 eps is impressive. “Smallville” did it first though, but good on SPN.
*Kristen Kreuk has to endure fame for another season. “Beauty and Beast” has received a renewal!
*Michael Rosenbaum’s TVLand series “Impastor” has a trailer…but for some reason TVLand took it down. But here’s a cast pic.
Michael is returning to voiceovers with a turn as Scarecrow in an upcoming DC Animated film.
*Allison Mack will guest star in an episode of “The Following” this season. No word if she’ll have any scenes with Shawn Ashmore who played Eric Summers in the SV episode “Leech”.
*John Schneider is still having success with OWN’s “The Have and Have Nots” a series I don’t know anyone who watches.

*Eric Johnson is waiting for “The Knick” to resume shooting so he’s spending his time cracking jokes.

*Justin Hartley is gaining fans on “The Young and the Restless” but he already has a fan in girlfriend Chrishell Strausse.
*I don’t know if the details of their split ever came out but Justin’s ex, Lindsay has a fan who keeps tweeting her ex-husband jokes. Maybe the fan just wants to show Lindsay she’s on her side. But Lindsay is doing okay. She’ll be seen in a docu-series that covers several former soap stars as they try to come up with an idea for their own series

*Speaking of Gaga, Alan Ritchson spent time with Gaga at a NYC fashion show (seated next to famed photographer Mario Testino and actor Nolan Gerard Funk.
*Kid Flash/Impulse/Bart Kyle Gallner with his littles ones Oliver and Leo. Kyle is featured in “American Sniper”.

*Kyle has several projects in post-production, the biggest one is “The Finest Hour” which stars Chris Pine, Eric Bana, Ben Foster.
*Peyton List who played Lucy Lane
is coming to “The Flash” as Golden Glider, the sister of Captain Cold played by Wentworth Miller.
Peyton was on the short-lived (and very much missed by me) “The Tomorrow People”. Her “Tomorrow People” costar Robbie Amell has also appeared on “The Flash”. Her other TP costar Luke Mitchell has been recruited by ABC to appear in an episode of “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD”.
Another defector is Adrianne Palicki. Fake!Kara has been made a regular on “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD”.
Better than this
*Yet another defector to the Marvel’verse is John Glover! This deception is something I expect from Lionel Luthor. Glover appeared in an ep of ‘Marvel’s Agent Carter”.
*Laura Vandervoort just completed a trip to Kenya as an ambassador for Worldvision. Before she left she took time out to congratulate CBS’ new “SUpergirl” Melissa Benoist.
*Annette O’Toole never stops working. Annette was in several episodes of AMC’s “Halt and Catch Fire”.
And continues being the biggest supporter of her husband Michael “Perry White” McKean who can be seen in the “Breaking Bad” pre-quel, “Better Call Saul”.

*He’s besties with Emmanuel Vaugier (Helen Bryce), but Callum Blue makes time for other SV friends like Sharon Taylor who played Faora.
*Callum’s other cohort Basqat was played by Adrian Holmes. Adrian is doing fine, thank you very much, with the successful cop drama “19-2”.
*Lex’s best right hand man Regan Matthews played by the dashing Ari Cohen continues a successful theater career. Ari is currently in the play “The Waiting Room” and is getting grand reviews.
Cohen has a particularly challenging role to fill as he runs the gamut from cold, authoritarian patriarch to Alzheimer's victim, without enough time to fully examine or satisfy his single-minded take on life, death, and the complex role of medical intervention. His range is impressive, and frequently bittersweet, as he grapples with mortality in a simultaneously composed, manic, and manly manner.
*While I generally consider anyone who has been on SV once part of the Smallville alums, I’m just now realizing how many there are and how many I’ve overlooked. This post was borne out of Tariel22 and Tasabian pointing out actors that have been on SV that I completely didn’t know about.

Also the ep that tried to Joss Lillian Luthor’s haircolor by having Lionel explain to Clark that Lex was drawn to brunettes because Lillian was one when we all knew damn well Lillian was a redhead because that’s Lionel’s preference (Lillian, Pamela, Rachel Dunleavy and Martha Kent).

*with roles in “Lincoln” and “Milk”, Joseph gained a bit of tabloid notoriety when he allegedly hooked up with costar Anna Friels while she was still with baby-daddy David Thewlis. Thewlis said that Joseph was their friend and nothing was going on, but not too long afterwards Thewlis and Friel split up.

*We know about the unfortunate business of Sneaky Pete slanging Oxy, but there’s two more unseemly incidents from SV alums.
JP Manaux who played Edgar Cole, Lionel’s cellmate in “Transference” was recently arrested on voyeurism charges. Dude had hidden cameras to spy on women. I bet even Edgar didn’t do that to get in jail.
And the late actor Johnny Lewis who had a recurring role on “Sons of Anarchy” and “The OC” was killed after running from police (it was never determined if he fell or jumped to his death). It’s believed that before his death Johnny killed his landlord and her cat.
Johnny played Gabriel Duncan in “Hidden”. He’s the guy that kills Clark while he’s temporarily without his powers.
Also: Kevin Daniels of USA’s “Sirens” played Greg Flynn in “Lockdown”, Marguerite Moreau played Carrie Castle in “Drone”. Marguerite was in S1 of “Shameless” and will star in Netflix series “Wet Hot American Summer: Summer Camp” (which will bring back everyone from the film “Wet Hot American Summer” including Bradley Cooper) , Adam Brody played Justin Gaines in “Crush”, Julia Maxwell who played Eve in several episodes of SPN played Mary Pierson in “Prey” and Tim Guinee of “Homeland” played Adrian in “Gemini”.
*And Tom..well as we wait for the sure to be terrible Nicholas Sparks film to come out, Tom has been spending time with friends. He attended the premiere of his friends’ indie film not too long ago.
