But it was the premiere of “Emily Owens M.D” starring Justin Hartley.

Justin’s been hitting the interview circuit. He visited L.A’s CW affiliate KTLA with Mamie, he was on CBS’s “The Talk” and videos from blogger’s Vancouver set visit were posted. He was asked about the possibility of directing an episode of “Emily Owens, M.D”.
adored directing. I had probably the perfect scenario where I had a group of people around me that, for the most part, liked me a lot and took care of me and made sure that I got everything I needed and sorta tried to see my vision as well. I also had great showrunners...that.... I was benefitted by having a show that had been on for nine plus seasons so I sorta knew what the show was--you know what you were shooting. And Tom was there and he had directed before and he was helpful so I had that going for me. But if it's anything like that experience here, and I assume it would be, I would do it. I would do it every chance I got. I loved it.
~Kristin’s “Beauty and the Beast” fared better ratings wise than “Emily Owens M.D” (the debate and the fact that the show premiered online weeks ago added to the low numbers)
but the show is being critically ravaged like Vincent does to the bad guys.

Just as Tom talked about how helpful Kristin was to him in the audition for SV, Jay talks about support from Kristin.
Kristin, he said, was immediately kind, helping him settle into an audition groove, as the character who also has a passion for Catherine.
"I was just kind of shocked. I thought, 'Wow, this girl's been in the industry for 10 years and is sort of celebrated in a way, and she's just a very humble normal girl,'" he recounted. "So I was just like, now I want this part even more because I know I could work with this actress, however long it takes."

But that’s okay “Hart of Dixie”-ers. I still love you. Even though I can’t stand Rachel Bilson.

*I’m loving Ian Anthony Dale on the show and I can’t wait to see these two together. While I’m not holding out hopes for Daniel to do an American series again (he did a minis-series for Korean TV not too long ago with actor/singer Rain), he is still making films. “Shanghai Calling” is playing film festivals and recently screened in my neck of the woods.

~The second installation of “American Horror Story” began last night and it was as twisted, depraved but sexier than the first season. This installment subtitled “Asylum” brings back the S1 actors (Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Zachary Quinto and Lily Rabe. Ryan Murphy just tweeted that Dylan McDermott is returning, as well as S1 guest star Eric Stonestreet.

Clea plays the secret girlfriend of Sarah Paulson’s character. Since people have nothing better to write about, rumors are kicking up that Sarah is carrying on an affair with Jessica Lange, who she has been friends with for years. I think it's because Sarah was with Cherry Jones for a long time so people figure she has a thing for older ladies.
Know who won’t be joining the inmates in the asylum? Former “The Secret Circle” actor Chris Zylka.
During the summer Chris excitedly tweeted his role on the show. Recently and very quietly, it was reported that he was out after refusing to shave his head for the role of a deaf-mute inmate. The reason was that he was only due to appear in two episodes and balked at shaving his head for that so Murphy fired him quicker than you can say His Royal Fierceness.
Chris didn’t tweet that he was fired but he tweeted being dumped by Lucy Hale of “Pretty Little Liars”.

Click to view~Chris isn’t the only one ankling a show. Though this one did it on his own. Colton Haynes’ recently announced departure from “Teen Wolf” caused a ruckus in the fandom. I don’t think people really care that Colton is leaving, I think they just don’t want change. Because really, what does he do on the show besides take his shirt off? You have the Tylers for that. I’m more concerned about Carlos Colton Posey.

The exit was reported by E! Online first to the alleged bewilderment of MTV and Jeff Davis who both took to Twitter to express their confusion about the report. MTV News even tweeted someone asking where they were getting this info from. Finally, the next day MTV confirmed his exit. The scuttlebutt is that he didn’t want to return for only half a season and that his management had enough time to agree or disagree to an offer, but they sat on it for two months so they had to begin writing the first few episodes without Jackson. From what I gather Jackson focused a lot in the finale and his transition to werewolf was to be a bigger arc in S3 but now Colton’s departure changes that. The killing part is that Jeff Davis was deciding whether or not to kill the character off in S2.
The news came just before Davis and Tyler Posey did a “Teen Wolf” panel at NY Comic Con. Davis was diplomatic and Posey was darling saying that Colton is “a good guy and my best friend” and getting a little teary-eyed in the process.

Months after he and his wife divorce, it was announced he was having a baby with a model he had a one-night stand with (carrying on fine tradition of barebacking it with strangers like Hugh Grant, Jude Law and Goren Visnijc before him). The child is due fairly soon.
