SDCC Shenanigans, Birthday Wishes...

Jul 08, 2012 22:39

~ Happy Birthday (at least it’s not yet midnight in California) Tasabian thanks for all the Rosey and fandom love and being you in general!

You’ll need help blowing out the candles on forty cakes

~ Smallville Alums
*Before heading to Vancouver to shoot “Emily Owens, MD” Justin Hartley has been getting time in with friends.

Going by his and his sisters’ tweets Justin’s mom visited him in May days before his impending divorce was announced. In June he and his daughter flew back with her to Chicago to spend time with his family. His sister Megan,

Who has his sense of humor

tweeted a picture of them in a rickshaw, while younger sister Gabriella tweeted him the results of her dye job after he helped her bleach her hair.

And Justin and Cassidy Freeman hit each other up on Twitter.

*Rosenbaum is counting down to his 40th birthday. He updated his Twitter profile to include that he’s 39.9 years old. I think he completed editing on his film “Old Days”. He and his friends went to a sneak peek of the Magic Mountain ride Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom

He also took part in a charity event at the Santa Monica Pier with Zachary Levi and Paul Scheer (whose show panel seems to be the only one on NerdHQ that isn’t sold out.)

*While Alan Ritchson’s pilot “Super Fun Night”s fate is still being decided, he better things to think about. He and his wife Cat are expecting Aqualad!

*Chris Zylka late of “The Secret Circle” and new cast member on the second season of “American Horror Story” tweeted this picture of he and Alan.

He captioned it “With my brotha from another motha”

*“Supernatural” fans are gearing up to support Jensen’s family by sponsoring them in November’s Down Syndrome of Dallas Buddy Walk for Jensen’s nephew Levi. The word went out during the week and fans hopped to it.

The Ackles clan is grateful
“Buddy Walk 2012 is doing AWESOME! A HUGE shout out to all the SPN fans! We hear you and we thank you for your love towards our family and of course Jensen!”

Little Levi

~Jensen is selling his Brentwood home. The LA Times posted the listing and pictures of what Casa de Lardo looks like inside.

The living room where he and Jared shared their first kiss after Jensen played Johnny Cash on guitar for him

The kitchen where they had breakfast the next morning. Well, afternoon since they were too busy having morning sex for food.

Where they also fought over who had the worst film: Jensen with “10 Inch Hero” or Jared with “The Christmas Cottage”

The deck where they grilled

The pool that Jensen used to do laps to burn off fat. It’s not working

It’s where they also recreated the pool sex scene from “Showgirls”. And yes, Jared was Elizabeth Berkley in this situation.

He’s selling it for $3.495 million. “The Mediterranean home, built in 1947 and recently renovated, sits on a walled site of about a third of an acre. The 2,636-square-foot main house features high ceilings, a loft library, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The two-story guesthouse has a gated entrance. Outdoor amenities include a swimming pool with spa, a kitchen, lawn and fruit trees.”

Beautiful home but it’s no competition for (allegedly) Tom Welling’s home in Martha’s Vineyard

Who knows what debauchery goes on there

*Tyler Posey will be at Comic Con for the “Teen Wolf” panel. This is actually just an excuse to make a “Teen Wolf” post. It’s come to that. I’m posting about a show I don’t even watch.

Talking about brothers I think “Teen Wolf”s Tyler Hoechlin’s brothers can be the new members of Mark Welling’s Why-Oh-Why-Lord-Can’t-I-Look-Like-My-Brother?? Club.

Tyler Hoechlin with Dylan O’Brien

Older brother Travis

*Yes, that’s his brother, not his father.

And Tanner who looks like Bam Margera

But Tyler has no power over me. I dig his eyebrows,

but he’s the kid from “The Road to Perdition”. I can’t see him as sexy.

Dylan solo

*I can’t find a brother of Colton’s brother. I know he has a brother because he gave an interview stating that his brother is gay and married. I laughed because the rumor was that Colton’s people had tried to get those modeling pics of him kissing another guy pulled off the internet as to quell gay rumors. When Colton stated that is brother was gay some folks went, “Oh, he couldn’t possibly be gay. His brother is.” As there’s a one homosexual per family rule. I don’t think that Colton is gay but he looks like he’s had a penis in his mouth that wasn’t his own (He looks like someone who can selfsuck).

I’m only saying that he has modeled. Not only modeling like this.

But this

Be careful if you click on this picture. It takes you to a NSFW site

I can see how to get his start he’d have to jiggle it for some dirty photographer… amongst other things. Before Channing Tatum was stripping he let some dude take pictures of him palming his crotch (his own, not the photographer) so Colton’s in good company.

Now he’ll only do acceptable shirtlessness.

Just a taste

And maybe those gay rumors would stop if you didn’t hang around Matt Dallas, JC Chasez and Chace Crawford.

Tyler Posey’s brothers could also be in that club. Maybe on reserves, they’re just on the cusp.

Derek and Jesse Posey

*Jesse (the younger one) kinda looks like Tyler, but I swear he doesn’t look like his dad or his siblings. Mama Posey has some explaining to do.

Cub Tyler with dad

*Tyler’s dad was in the original pilot for “Full House” as Danny Tanner. Now he can marvel at girls/women ogling his son.

~I really have a hard time thinking linearly sometimes. I jump all around logic. When I read that Extra was holding outdoor events at Comic Con I decided that I would go to San Diego and just hang out.

Then the ticket information for Zachary Levi’s Nerd Machine Conversations for a Cause was posted. I posted that to my Twitter account and didn’t even read it, frankly. So hours later I decided, “Hey, since I’m going to San Diego, I should do the NerdHQ events!” Which, had I been thinking I would’ve planned my trip around Nerd HQ instead of just hanging around like some wallflower at the school dance.

By that time I made my decision the nerds had broken the interwebs and NerdHQ suspended ticketing. Mind you, they didn’t even post this information to their site where you only got a nifty 404 error.

This one

Other fave 404 errors
I got this one Ebony’s website. I died.

I had to go to Zach and Nerd Machine’s Twitter to get the information. Zach tweeted that the site would be back up at 2pm, then 5pm. While Nerd Machine tweeted that the site would be back up on Saturday with a new ticket location and staggered sales as to not crash the server. Long story short-too late-I got a ticket to Jared Padalecki’s Q&A and did not get one for “Grimm”. I was very close. I got to the cart yet when I went to “add to cart” there wasn’t a tab. I hit refresh and gone. Nothing. They went on sale at 3pm. By 3:02 nothing was left. I’m hoping there was a glitch and they’ll reassess because I’m at the point where I want to scrap the whole thing because I didn’t get the ticket I wanted. Cos I’m a baby. I’m not schlepping all the way to San Diego just for Jared Padalecki, no offense to the big guy.

Now all of this would’ve been moot had I not already booked my train ticket. See, I don’t think things straight. That’s too much like doing right. But I think I can get a refund if I do it in advance. I’m holding out hope that “Grimm” tickets become available again. The crazy thing though? If I had gotten “Grimm” but not Jared I would’ve been irked too. I’m just like Prince’s mother, I’m never satisfied.

And I got an email this morning from NerdHQ saying that they overbooked due to a computer glitch so I’m ticketed but it’s standing room only. I don’t mind standing. I can stand for hours on end, but again, not for Jared Padalecki. Now that I realized they overbooked that Q&A I give up on hope that “Grimm” will become available. I’m sure they had the same issue there.

Anyhoo, here’s the Extra schedule so far in a way that makes sense; unlike how they have it in their press release.

~School is out but shows are returning to set. Like

The cast of “Criminal Mind”
*First table read of the season.

He loves the Disney Princesses, but I wonder if he still loves Superman

New costar Jeanne Tripplehorn

Shemzie!!

~The stupid “Glee” cast is back. The thought was that Dianna Agron and Amber Riley weren’t returning but it looks like everyone is there, including Joker Mouth Chord Overstreet.

~ “Game of Thrones” is back shooting in far flung Morocco.

Brienne of Tarth, Catelyn Stark, Loras, Gendry, Roose hanging out

*Mackenzie Crook of “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “The Office” (UK) is also there. I haven’t heard if he has a role this season.

Meanwhile the cast are still tweeting it up.

Sansa starting mess

~I break into this TV post to talk about how Fan BingBing shut it down at the closing of the Stephanie Rolland fashion show.

Showstopper!

More BingBing fashion

*Another person I like for no discernable reason is Joe Jonas!

With a poorly selling solo cd under his belt, Joe has to find other ways to keep him gainfully employed to provide for his shopping sprees.

And cell phone bills

And hanging out shirtless at concerts like Coachella

And getting lapdances at concerts

Joe will be a judge on the new singing competition show for CW titled “The Next”.

Like CeeLo he has his own pet sidekick

. He will also be seen in his brother Kevin and sister-in-law’s reality series about Kevin’s married life and the brothers embarking on another cd.

Joe, he’s your brother. You can’t do that no matter what your friends post on fanfiction.net

At least he’s consistent

Besides, you have two people who you’re making jealous.

This woman, whoever she is

And this guy who I’m dubbing fake!Darren Criss

We know how you do, Joe
