Dianna Agron
*I love the makeup. Quite a departure from her usual fresh-faced look.

Jennifer Hudson in Versace
*I didn’t like the dress at all. I think the halter doesn’t jibe well with the dual layered bottom.

But she made the like list because I loved the dress she wore to Clive Davis’ party.

Monica in Stephane Roland
*Dramatic and outstanding. I love it. Maybe there’s too much neck action, there should be a small scoop, but overall it’s great.

Nicole Kidman in Gaultier
*I love the warm golds and brown, but I wish she’d go shorter sometime.

Rihanna in Gaultier
*Either go big or go home and I love how daring this look was. She looks impish, not trashy and that’s a tough balance sometimes.

Anyhoo, although Joe “Thick ‘em Thighs” Jonas persists on dating “Twilight”s Ashley Greene as the two both cling to relevancy by using each other (that’s like holding onto a drowning person to keep yourself from drowing), he recently hit up his friend Jordin on Twitter.
I’d be so happy if he was Jordin’s first gay boyfriend. I’d even forgive his lack of punctuation and spelling out “you” when he has more than enough characters left.

Before launching into the worst song I’ve heard since Rihanna’s “S&M’. “Born This Way” is terrible. Not just terrible, turrible. It’s like a car wreck in my ears. I think the goal is to make it the new gay anthem,
![](http://i1022.photobucket.com/albums/af347/dawnyob/Eleventy/2gx3dhs.jpg)
but hasn’t the gay community suffered enough? Must she foist this song on them?

Miley Cyrus in Cavalli
*Horrid. I hear she was sidebobbing all over the place in this dress, but who could notice through this mess of a zebra print dress.
![](http://i1022.photobucket.com/albums/af347/dawnyob/Eleventy/mileycavalli.jpg)
Her Clive Davis party dress was an improvement, but not by much
![](http://i1022.photobucket.com/albums/af347/dawnyob/Eleventy/mileyclive.jpg)
Her daddy is crying in GQ over how “Hannah Montana” cost him his family. Billy Ray Cyrus says that he’s being set up as the fall guy for the yes people in Miley’s life because people wrongly assume he’s profited off his daughter, something he says is not true. I think it’s a father regretting that he really can’t control his daughter anymore. Which is hard for any parent, but when you add in the trap of fame and how quickly it could get a kid out of control, it’s a valid concern. I always wondered about the parent/child dynamic when the child is the cash cows. Years ago Miley’s parents said they’d never let her move out before she was eighteen, but she moved out when she hit 17, telling an interviewer that she “got around” their rule that she couldn’t move out early.

Katy Perry in Giorgio Armani

Ciara in Pucci
*I hate the black heels with this dress, the entire dress should’ve been a darker blue. Actually the dress should’ve been in one design: either flowing or a cut-out sleeker fit.
![](http://i1022.photobucket.com/albums/af347/dawnyob/Eleventy/ciarawrong.jpg)
I, however, loved her mini-dress at the Clive Davis party.

Janella Monae.
*The first time I saw this look I thought it was brilliant. Now it’s derivative. She needs to change it up a bit. She can still retain the retro Stomping at the Savoy look, but go another route.

Usher, Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith
*I admit I liked the performance (though I did find it a bit weird when talking about when they met, Justin, almost in a whisper said to Usher, “You said if it’s meant to be, we’d see each other again.”). Justin has really stepped up his dancing. Usher doesn’t challenge himself IMO, he’s doing “Rhythm Nation” for 2011 instead of inventing is own moves, but he does it well.

![](http://i1022.photobucket.com/albums/af347/dawnyob/Eleventy/rihannaonstage.jpg)
Rihanna is being sued by photographer David LaChappelle over her video for “S&M”. LaChappelle is suing for unspecified damages, but says her video copied the "composition, total concept, feel, tone, mood, theme, colors, props, settings, decors, wardrobe and lighting"of his work.
True.
![](http://i1022.photobucket.com/albums/af347/dawnyob/Eleventy/33jiq8g.jpg)
But I wonder if it has any merit? It’s an homage. It’s not like she’s using this for financial gain. Whose to say that Paula Abdul shouldn’t have been sued for copying “Rebel Without a Cause” in the “Rush Rush” video. Or Madonna for copying “Gentleman Prefer Blondes” in “Material Girl”.
Cee-Lo Green with Gwyneth Paltrow
*I loved it. You can’t get any more vanilla than Gwyneth, but it was nice seeing her showing the stage presence she should’ve bought to her role in “Country Strong”.

*I thought the sound quality of the Arcade Fire was way off, but I still love “Ready to Start” (thanks tragicllyhip for recommending it and getting me obsessed with it.
*Barbra Streisand was great, but I thought it odd that she’d do her own tribute. Also, she looks superb, but why does Kris Kristofferson looks so ragged?
*B.O.B, Janelle Monae and Bruno Mars were really good, but I expected something more. Same with John Mayer, Norah Jones and Keith Urban. But I don’t think John could beat the Grammys collabo he did two(?) years ago with John Legend and Corinne Bailey Rae of “Gravity”.
*I don’t know why they didn’t let Christina Aguilera do the Aretha Franklin tribute by herself since she attempted (and maybe succeeded) in blowing Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Addams, Florence Welch and Martina McBride out the water.

~With A.J Cook already off the show, there may be more changes at “Criminal Minds”. Paget who was supposed to go to reduced status could still be full time next season, but has done a pilot in case she decides to leave the show. Contract negotiations are upcoming for Shemar Moore and Thomas Gibson.
~Despite all of Kevin Reilly’s sure talking at the TCAs about “Fringe”, Airlock Alpha reports the show has slipped to a series low-30% off from last year. Despite the ratings slip nosedive, the site says it could be renewed for 2011-2012, but that Warners Bros. would reduce the licensing fee to continue production.
The site also states that SPN is down 16% from last year and that it loses an average of 13% of SV’s audience (SV is up 7% this year). So…take that Jensen!
*Wentworth Miller may return to TV. He and Orlando Jones (“Mad TV”, “Evolution”) are up for the ABC pilot, “Identities” which is about “an elite police unit formed to combat the explosion of identity-related crime,”
He has also just signed up for the indie film “Analog”. Described as a film that deals with a man who is having trouble adapting to our increasingly digital world. In this case, the focus will be on Miller’s troubled, introverted genius, who his stumbling through life looking for love, but for all his intelligence, just can’t find that special someone.
Wentworth’s film “Stoker” is getting a big boost in the casting of Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth.
*“The Vampire Diaries” Uncle Werewolf, Taylor Kinney has been cast in Michael Patrick King (co-creator of “Sex in the City”) in the drama “Mann’s World”. The show focuses on a womanizing hairdresser (Kinney) and the older hairdresser he usurps (Don Johnson has auditioned for the role).

*Lovely accented Jack Davenport is returning to TV! Jack has joined the pilot for NBC’s “Smash”, which is based on an idea by Steven Spielberg. The concept is like “Glee” where a “a cross section of characters who come together to put on a Marilyn Monroe musical on Broadway led by the musical's composer Tom and lyricist Julia (played by Debra Messing). Jack will play Derek, the choreographer. Singer Katherine McPhee was also added to the cast.
Jack was also offered the lead in “Desperate Housewives” creator Marc Cherry’s pilot “Hallelujah”, but the role went to Jesse L. Martin.
“Hallelujah” is “set in the town of Hallelujah, Tenn., which is being torn apart by the forces of good and evil and whose fortunes change when a stranger comes to town, bringing justice, peace and possibly restoring faith.”
*Stockard channing has joined Ron Moore (executive producer of “Battlestar Galatica”s pilot “17th Precinct. The show “is set in the fictional town of Excelsior where magic and supernatural elements rule over science.” The pilot also stars Battlestar vet Jamie Bamber.
*”Lost” alumnis are working: Brotha Desmond, Henry Ian Cusick has joined the cast of Shonda Rhimes pilot starring Kerry Washington and Columbus Short. Nestor Carbonell is set to co-star opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar in the CBS drama pilot Ringer. The project centers on troubled young woman Bridget (Gellar) who, while on the run from the mob, hides out by inhabiting the life of her wealthy. Ken Leung (Miles) also secured a pilot for A&E titled “Big Mike” starring “Heroes” Greg Grunberg and “Soul Foods” (lucky wife of Boris Kodjoe) Nicole Ari Parker . The concept of the show is “a drama pilot, about "a plus-sized detective in a world where plus-sized is a minus (dawnybee: So unlike he real world!)." He'll play Bernie Li, an old-neighborhood friend of Mike O'Bannon (Grunberg) and his partner Armando Romero who became the San Diego Police Department's doctor so he could keep a watchful eye on his best friends. Ed Decter and John Strauss are behind the project, which comes from the Sony Pictures Television-based Happy Madison Productions (Adam Sandler’s production company).
