What a painfully embarassing, unfunny spectacle that was. I was surprised at alot of the awards given ::cough:: "Glee" ::cough::, but even more surprised at how now that the Hollywood Foreign Press has come under fire for corruption and other offenses, the actors turned on them and began cracking mean spirited jokes about the same people who are giving them the awards.
The winners aren't so much important, but the
Loved
Sandra Bullock in Jenny Packham
*I love it. It’s a chic, lazy, messy look.
Almost makes Ryan wants to get back with her.
She should want to get back with him. He’s so smashing.
Olivia Wilde in Marchesa
*I think she was the best dressed overall. The chocolate and gold colors are wonderful.
Not sure of the gold heels…
Shaun Robinson
Michelle Williams in Valentino
*This almost went on the ‘hated’ list but she pulls it off. And I’m loving the pixie cut more and more.
I didn’t love the dress at the Critics Choice Awards though. Too long.
Kelly Osbourne in Zac Posen
*She and her stylist has superb taste. She never fails IMO.
Helena Bonham Carter
*Strictly for her daringness. Mismatched shoes? I gotta give it up to her.
Jake doesn’t get it, but I do, Helena
Leighton Meester in Burberry Prorsum
Leighton at the Art & Elysium Gala
Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad
Piper Perabo
Hailee Steinfeild in Prabal Gurung. I think it’s age appropriate. Classy, but doesn’t make her look too older.
Claire Danes.
*Simple and classic.
Geoffrey Rush. The hat is a nice touch.
Heidi Klum
*On anyone else they’d look like Mrs. Roper from “Three’s Company” but Heidi looks stylishly retro.
See, even Guy Pearce approves
Emma Stone in Calvin Klein
*She looks sensational, like some 50’s starlet. “Easy A” deservedly won a Critics Choice Award for Best Comedy.
Julia Stiles
I liked her look at the Art & Elysium event too
Christina Hendricks killing them dead in Romona Keveza
Eva Longoria in Zac Posen
*I thought it a bit too basic, but I love the belt and that cinched it ::rimshot:: for me.
Hated
Tilda Swinton
*She will top every “Worst Dress” there is.
Matthew Bomer
*Looks too starched and uncomfortable.
Same for BAG

Helen Mirren
*Too matronly.
Julie Bowen
*I hate ruffles, but I really hate a lot of ruffles.
Hope Davis
*Bland.
*Julianne Moore’s dress at the premiere of “The Kids Are Alright” was a mess, but at least it’s unique. Hope’s is too plain.
Tina Fey and Jon Hamm. Busted in blue. Not a good look on either. She looks like a madame and he looks like he should singing in a lounge in Vegas.
Halle Berry in Nina Ricci
*She gets points for daring, but I don’t like the plain overlay with the mini.
Julianne Moore
*Wrinkled mess.
January Jones in Versace
*Dammit, what’s wrong with her. It’s an old Versace style and not in a good vintage or retro way, but old-fashioned and very dated.
Right, Nicole?
Elizabeth Moss
*She’s joining January in the poorly dressed women of “Mad Men” category
Gabourey Sibide
*That print is uncalled for.
Jennifer Lawrence from “Winter’s Bone” in Louis Vuitton
The Rest
Sofia Vergara
*I wish it was another color, but I love the design of it.
Sarah Hyland also of “Modern Family”
Winner, Jim Parsons
*Very dapper.
Kaley Cucuo
Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon
Julianna Margulies
Joseph Gordon Levitt

Jane Krakowski showing up pregnant Natalie Portman
Natalie Portman in Viktor and Rolf
Jennifer Love Hewitt
Jane Fonda

Jimmy Jean Louis
Miss Golden Globes, Gia Mategna
Anne Hathaway in Giorgio Armani Privé
*I hate the overload of sequins or whatever the material is.
Mandy Moore in Monique Lhuillier
Mark Wahlberg and his wife

He wasn’t laughing when Ricky Gervais “joked” about his drug abuse
Garrett Hedlund
Is Jeremy Renner in prison? What’s up with the pose?

Rupert Murdoch and his wife
*I’m sure she’s with him for love and not for his fortune.
Andrew Garfield in Emperio Armani
I’d ship them.
Johnny Depp in Ralph Lauren Black Label
*It looks that he kept the jewelry to a minimum. He’s probably only wearing 12 bracelets.
Desmond Harrington of “Dexter” looking like he’s going to stab someone in the restroom.
The men of “Dexter”
Trent Reznor looking like Garry Shandling and Atticus Finch
Christian Bale and his wife
and their look-a-like hair.
Justin Beiber out past his bedtime
Oh, I see. You’re youthful so you’re wearing trainers to show how much of a young rebel you are. You’re so ingenious.
Blair Underwood and wife. I love the grey. Nice departure.

Colin Firth and wife
Scarlett Johannson in Elie Saab
Armie Hammer and wife
Alex Pettyfer in Armani
Ryan Kwanten in Hugo Boss
*Love the splash of color.
Zac Efron open your fucking eyes!
Diane Warren in an outfit as awful as that song she wrote for Cher in “Burlesque”.
The Glee gang
Harry Shum Jr. who I think was the best dressed male. Very unconventional but it worked to break the blandness of the basic tuxes the men wore.
Dianna Agron in J. Mendel
*Too bland. She needs something to break up the monotony because her hair, skin and dress all blends together.
Matt “Wonderbread” Morrison
Milhouse Van Houten Kevin McHale
Chris Colfer
Chord “dawnybee still can’t believe it’s my real name” Overstreet
Darren Criss
Dot Jones in Simon Spurr

Dot and Mark Sailling
Jane Lynch
*Too much damn material.
They say this is Jayma Mays, but she looks so different.

Amber Riley in Oliver Tolentino
Jenna Ushkowitz in Rebecca Taylor
~Some of those who weren’t good enough for the Globes attended the Art and Elysium event.

Devo!
Kirstin Dunst
*I should hate this, but amazingly I don’t.
~I leave you with
