This is so interesting---I hadn't thought of this before. Now I'm trying to figure out other actors who might fit in to this category---

It really is. I don't get the appeal of half the guys on that list---including Ryan Reynolds. He's good looking, sure, but it's a sort of bland good lookingness, to me. Not so much sexy. And I'll admit, I've just never gotten the Ian Somerhalder thing either. He's someone who, in fact epitomizes the opposite of sexy to me because he always comes across as trying - trying to ::always:: look and be sexy. And it just doesn't work for me, because I find sex appeal to sort of be a more innate thing that those that have it just naturally exude, rather than always putting on a show about it, y'know.

Now, Downey jr and Jon Hamm? I get. And who's the Joe Mangimarzipan guy? (yes, I'm co-opting this for other peoples names I can't seem to pronounce ;-) He looks familiar, but I can't quite place him.

I'd still do 'im. The pants and clothes in general are of no hindrance to me, heh! No, but look - now here's a guy that ought to be on that damn list.

There are actors who look too much alike and one wins out. That's my theory on Amy Adams (Enchanted) and Ilsa Fisher (Wedding Crashers). They both start getting big roles about the same time and it was confusing, but now Amy is getting all the roles

ITA. It's not even about looks all the time, it's presence and with alot of these actors there's no *there* there. Ian included. Creepy Nice eyes and I can see sometimes why he was a model, but he seems to think too much of himself.

Joe is on "True Blood" and I think he had a recurring role on OTH or another CW show. At one point he was rumored to be in the running for Davis Bloome. But he's another attractive guy, but sexy? I'm not feeling it.

If he's not on the list it's a sin and a crime because when they came up with sexy, they had to have had Tom Hardy in mind. He is sexy. It's in his demeanor. I am telling you he is a charmer and sex appeal oozes, drips, spurts from him.
