~Images from the upcoming SV episode “Abandoned” have been released. A few are located at my
handy, dandy spoiler page.

Allison finally gets to be a costumed character

*Thanks to
tariel22 for posting this interview with the lovely Alaina Huffman.
who talks about juggling family and career D’awwww
*Another bit of cuteness? Someone drew the ladies of “Smallville”.
*A bit of weirdness? Bondage!Lois.
Someone at DC had a fetish look woah
I don’t even know what to do with this.
*Another SV alum is doing porn. First Sam Jones III and now
Chubster Jensen Ackles *Thanks to
tasabian for linking me these.
I guess this is why Misha remarked that Jensen was a gay porn star at last week’s con. When I look at these pics I can’t help but think of pepperoni covered marshmallows.
Do some sit-ups! Jenny.
*And he looks like someone from StraightBrokeBoys who has to watch porn to perform. But Jensen is just watching Jared work out. That’s his porn. He’s so easy.
Why? Because “Supernatural” has more than likely won the TV Guide cover poll. Bastard. If they won, I can’t complain, I didn’t vote anyway. SV should be given the cover. But if there’s no new photos for the cover, it’s a moot point. I’m only interested in new SV promo pics.
~Halloween is over, but I still have a few more
Halloween pics.
The Divine Miss M, Bette Midler as Mother Nature(?)
Maroon 5’s Adam Levine as “Die Hard”s John McClane, complete with wrapped feet. Awesome.
“Community”s Danny Pudi didn’t go as a hot dog, oh no. Half-Polish Danny went as a Polish sausage
His costar Donald Glover went as Christopher Robin with his Winnie the Pooh
“True Blood”s Joe Mangiello and fiancee
Kris Allen
JC Chasez. Honestly, I had been wondering where were the JC and/or Matt Dallas Halloween pics. I’m still holding out for Matty D.
Kellan Lutz
Diddy and his children
Chad Michael Murray and she who he’ll never marry, Kenzie as Madonna and I’m guessing Billy Idol. I could've lived happily without ever seeing him shirtless.
Of course the only party he was invited to was Matthew Morrisons. Two dickweeds partying together. Sickening.
Chad’s ex-wife Sophia Bush and boyfriend Austin Nichols as Katy Perry and Russell Brand
Russell Brand and Luis Guzman as Batman and Robin. Okay, it’s actually from the set of “Arthur”
The Obamas
Random guy in NYC
“90210”s Ryan Eggold
Rick Fox and Eliza Dushku as Superman and Lois Lane
Are they recreating “Dirty Dancing”?
*The two recently went to a party for “Dancing with the Stars” where Rick’s fellow contestant, Jennifer Grey brought along her dad, Joel.
“Modern Family”s Rico Rodriguez
Tim DeKay and kids
Singer Pete Burns of “Dead or Alive
*Kidding! Sadly, this isn’t a mask, this is Pete’s real face.

*Joe Jonas as a gay Jack Sparrow?
Talking about Joe, there is some Disney Tween drama going on and I’m going to shame myself and discuss it here. Just imagine there’s a million exclamation marks and OMGs in this and that I’m wearing friendship bracelet from Clare’s.
Joe’s “Camp Rock” and “Camp Rock 2” (because Disney is evil) costar/ex-girlfriend Demi Lovato was checked into a treatment center.
I know!Eleventy!
At first the rumor was that it was rehab for a drug addiction due to a couple of blind items about a teen star acting outrageously: doing drugs at party, flashing in public. Everyone ruled out Miley I’m guessing because that’s expected of her, ruled out Selena Gomez of “Wizards of Waverly Place” because who is she anyway and ruled out “iCarly”s Miranda Cosgrove because Miranda is too much of a sweetie and I would die, just die I tell you if she got mixed up with that scene.
The “reps” confirm that Demi is seeking treatment for cutting and depression; two things that she has battled in the past. The catalyst for this was a fight that she got into at an airport as she and the Brothers Jonai were making their way back to the States. People are saying she got into a fight with a dancer, but other sites have also said she went after Ashley Greene, Joe’s latest female who thinks he’s straight girlfriend and is traveling with them. And that it was her jealousy over Joe and Ashley, thus making Ashley Greene the most hated person in teendom since the last most hated person they hated on. Which is anyone who has dared spoken out against Justin Bieber.
Someone named Linda Fargo as Tippi Hedren in “The Birds”
~Seeing that made me remember my “Birds” Barbie. Here are some of my recent purchases.
Uhuru and Mad Hatter
Trichelle and Janessa
“Laugh-In” Goldie Hawn Barbie
*I’m disappointed in her look, frankly. She’s not as pretty as advertised. She’s like Kate Hudson Barbie.
Generations of Dream Barbie
Tara Reid dressed up as her.
~ “The Game” is coming back to TV. Well, BET, but it’s still TV…just not particularly a good channel. The cast recently had a party in Atlanta where the show now shoots (because BET doesn’t like to pay people).
“The Game” and other TV Misc.
What I learned? That Brittany Daniels is a twin and she and her sister was on the teen show “Sweet Valley High”.
Other Celebrity Siblings
“Leverage”s Aldis Hodge and Brother Edwin
*Edwin was in a really good ep of “Leverage” last season. He acts just like Aldis. He was also in Aldis’ spoof vid “The Hand Job” made in S1.
*Misha tweeted this pic of he and Aldis at last week’s con. He tweeted “I just met a super sweet white guy with a wicked tan.”
Joaquin and Summer Phoenix looking like Pugsly and Wednesday Addams
The Arquettes: Alexis, Rosanna, Richmond, Patricia and David
*Cher gave an interview with
Vanity Fair for an upcoming interview and in it she mentions that she keeps slipping and referring to her transgender son Chaz in the feminine form.
Some people have commented that it’s rude of her and that she’s being insensitive, but my feeling is that she doesn’t do it to harm Chaz, it’s that I’m sure it’s hard for a parent to readjust their thinking. She gave birth to a daughter, that’s all she’s known her child as so it’s new to her. Everyone expected Cher to take it well since she has a large gay following and she’s enlightened when Chaz came out and subsequently had his gender reassignment surgery, but I think when it’s your child, it’s hard to readjust. I was surprised that the Arquettes still mess up and refer to Alexis as “he”. Cher is working on it and I hope she gets there for the sake of her relationship with Chaz.
Rumor has it that Warren Beatty and Annette Bening’s 18-year old child Kathryn is contemplating gender reassignment surgery. Kathryn has been living as man and has changed his name to Stephen. Also, Stephen looks like Ellen Page but with shorter hair, which means he’s really cute.
~ A bit of six-degrees-of-separation. AlMiles wrote the script for "I Am Number Four" starring Alex Pettyer and Alex will appear in the science-fiction film "Next" alongside could've been Superman, Matthew Bomer. The film stars Justin Timberlake (I guess he's really an actor now.), Olivia Wilde and Amanda Seyfriend. Which one is supposed to be the box office draw, I do not know.
*Matthew was on panel for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences panel on TV Crimefighters.
Also on panel was Boris Kodjoe (You know it killed me to not go to this, right? This is a ghost typing this because I died of a broken heart.), Thomas Gibson of “Criminal Minds”, Mary McCormick of “In Plain Sight”, Angie Harmon of “Rizzoli and Isles” and Mike Connors of “Mannix”. You can watch it here.
here. You can look at pictures of Matt filming “White Collar”,

~I loved the Little Miss/Mr books and I’m sure I would’ve loved “Little Don Draper Goes Commando”.
~We’ve lost so many figures this past month: Mr. C of “Happy Days”, Tom Bosley. June Cleaver/”The Muppet Babies” Nanny and Jive talking woman in “Airplane”, Barbara Billingsley and now we have lost the world’s only most psychic octupus.
Paul predicted with 100% accuracy the winners of the World Cup. I know that whatever memorial service they had for it, there was calamari being served.
And lots of it.
Unstoppable
Fair movie. When I saw the trailer I thought, “Wow, how exciting.” But after an half-hour in, I realized, “This is trainwatching. I’m just watching a train.” The easy comparison is “Speed”. I don’t know why I found “Speed” much more exciting. Maybe it was the Keanu factor.
The film stars Denzel Washington Jr and Chris Pine as two train operators, strangers on the job, who on their first day working together are in the middle of a emergency when a runaway train filled with chemicals go barreling through town. The race is one for the train authority head Cooper (Rosario Dawson) to figure out a way to stop it before it crashes and wipes out an entire community.
The film lacks themeatic dramas so director Tony Scott had to make drama by using jerky, zoom in camera shots as if that was a good substitute. It was like watching “NYPD Blue” except there wasn’t any particularly good bits of dialogues and no butt shots. We do get Chris Pine getting out of bed in his briefs though.
Both Denzel and Chris are fine. The action in the third part is really, really good, but the majority of it is just… fine. The bright spot for me was this character Ned played by Lew Temple, think SPN’s Ash sans mullet.
It was the premiere:
The only picture I took that night. Denzel worked the crowd. Chris only did part of the crowd before having to do a radio interview and then the press line-seemingly forever.
and I don’t think the actors themselves were too psyched about the film. Or maybe they were both burned out. A radio station was there doing live interviews and when asked about the film Chris joked that it didn’t have aliens or tight uniforms, but it was still kick ass. The interviewer told Denzel she had seen the film and asked him to tell the listeners about it and he said, laughingly “You saw it. You tell me how it was.” And she paused for a bit, just stuck. But she countered with, “It’s your film.” And the only thing he said was something about the Lakers were going to win the playoffs and I turned to my friend and asked if there was a game tonight, because that was random.
The most exciting thing of the night was that a car caught on fire. Just out of the blue. I still don’t know how it did. I just saw the police running over and billowing black plumes of smoke and people leaving the red carpet to see what was going on.
Chris and his tres handsome dad, actor Robert Pine of “ChiPs”
He gets it honestly
*Chris isn’t the other one doing a hot spread, Rosario did one for German GQ.
*Chris is currently filming “This Means War” with Reese Witherspoon and Tom Hardy. I now interrupt this post for a mini Hardy Party.
I get how you feel, Bertie
He’s so goofy!
And darling
And hot in glasses
Is this a scene or is Chris trying to lure him to the bushes?
Oh, Tom.
Step off, Chris!
*Someone pointed out that Tom has an American doppleganger. Logan Marshall Green of the short-lived ABC series “Traveler”.
His fellow costars were Matthew Bomer and Aaron Stanford. Matt has his own series and Aaron is in “Nikita”, now Logan can be a Tom lookalike. It’s a better career move IMO.
Anyway...
Never Forget!
Megamind
I loved this movie. The 3D wasn’t necessary because it can easily stand alone without any gimmicks. I could surprisingly stomach Jonah Hill’s voice and it was nice seeing Brad Pitt doing something light. He pretty much used the same voice he used on “King of the Hill” where he played Boomhauer’s brother, Patch. It’s just Matthew McConaughey’s voice.
Written by new-ish writers Alan Schoolcraft and Brent Simons and directed by Tom McGrath (“Madagascar 1 and 2”), the film basically uses the concept of Superman: Megamind and Metro Man are both lone survivors of two destroyed planets and become lifelong enemies with a reporter, Roxanne Richi who covers their exploits.( At one point Megamind asks if Metro Man has a “solitary fortress of some kind”. ).
But “Megamind” goes on it’s own path when Megamind successfully vanquishes the good guy and he realizes that without Metro Man, he has lost his purpose.
The rest I don’t want to spoil. It’s a very entertaining and funny film. Some bits go over kids heads, but the adults got it. It has a very good crew behind it: Justin Theroux who wrote “Iron Man 2” and “Tropic Thunder” served as a creative consultant alongside Guillermo Del Toro (“Hellboy”, “Pan’s Labyrinth”). I think it’s because of DelToro’s involvement the action scenes are truly excellent. Ben Stiller is one of the producers. They even used one of the best choreographers in the business, Fatima Robinson (she famously did the choreography for Michael Jackson’s “Remember the Times”) as a choreographer for a dance bit that only lasted a minute.
Another thing that amazed me about the film? Pre-teen girls scream when Brad Pitt names appear on-screen Who knew he reached the younger kids.
