~ Casting spoilers and a sweet message from an upcoming guest star at my handy, dandy spoiler page

*John Glover recently participated in a one-night charity reading of Terrence McNally’s “Some Men” alongside Annette O’Toole’s hubby Michael McKean, Jason Ritter, Luke MacFarlane and Lily Tomlin.

I couldn’t find any pictures of him from the event, so here’s a pic taken in August during his play. Still magnificent, I see.

and an older one of he and his parter, Adam

*The non-stop working Kyle Gallner is filming Kevin Smith’s “Red State”, but I recently saw pics from another film he recently wrapped, “Losers Take All”

Here’s Kyle rocking out

Picture from “Mother’s Little Helper”

*BAG’s arc on “Desperate Housewives” is developing nicely. I’ve picked up the show again because of him. I haven’t watched in two seasons but it seems like nothing has changed other than Wilhemina Slater moving to Wisteria Lane. Why does Vanessa Williams play the same character nowadays?

*I’m losing hope that Regan Matthews would somehow return for the final of SV. Since I think that ship has sailed, I content myself with pics of Ari Cohen!

Rehearsal pics for “Death of a Salesman”

Isn’t he the bees knees?

On the theatre’s site, Ari posted this message.

Dining with the Greats - Ari Cohen

I couldn’t believe my good fortune, when I was asked to play Biff in this production of Death of A Salesman. Four weeks into rehearsal, and I still can’t. Working with Joe, Nancy, Tim and the entire cast has served as a daily reminder of why of I love actors and acting. Albert has been guiding us all with a steady hand and a huge open heart. As you are about to see, Death of A Salesman is not only structurally daring and brilliantly complex, but it is also an intensely impassioned work of art. Joe summed it up best the other day when he said, after rehearsal, “I can’t believe I get to be in this play.” I think, for all of us, the real superstar in the room is the great Arthur Miller.

Miller initially titled Salesman, “The Inside of His Head.” This is exactly where we attempt to delve throughout the rehearsal process. We are constantly searching the text for clues to his intentions for any given moment in a scene. We continue to be in awe of Miller’s artistry and of the extraordinary heart of this play, on a daily basis.

I had lunch with him once.

Ok, not really.

As a boy, my parents would make the occasional pilgrimage from Winnipeg to the Stratford and Shaw festivals. For some reason this memory has endured. As we were leaving a restaurant in Stratford, my dad, pointing to an elderly gentleman at a nearby table, said, “That’s Arthur Miller. He’s a very famous playwright who was once married to Marilyn Monroe.” It is remarkable to me that I recall an event that would have held absolutely no interest to me as a young boy. I now consider it somewhat prescient and am beyond thrilled that my own father will once again make the pilgrimage to Ontario, for this production of Miller’s master work. Enjoy the show, pop. Thanks for coming.

As both a son and a father, this play holds a special place in my heart. I hope your experience of this production is as thrilling for you, as exploring it these weeks has been for us. And perhaps, if you are moved to, you’ll go home and hug your kids a little tighter, or tell your parents that you love them. They’re doing their best.

Enjoy the show.

*The promotional stills have been released for the US version of the UK’s “Being Human”. It’s funny that they just came out when I had been looking around for info about it because someone tweeted that they met Sam and Mark Pellegrino on Saturday in Vancouver, where they’re filming. The show has been developed by Jeremy Carver of “Supernatural” and his wife, Anna Fricke ( “Men in Trees” and “Everwood”).

Sam in an interview for the Star Wars game. He doesn’t look that ugly anymore.

The originals

The sexiest vampire, Aidan Turner.

~ Dexter: I don’t know how they’ll top last season, but they’re on the right path. It’s not disappointed. But Quinn…he gotta go! Damn, dedicated cop.

~ 90210: I still think they could condense the characters of Silver and Adrianna and make one complete person versus two characters that alternate between being really together and interesting or just doing stuff in the periphery. It seems that Silver is turning into the den mother of the gang; the Ms. Garrett, if you will. All she does is wag her finger in admonishment or take care of the others.

Also unnecessary? This scene.

Liam, being this sprung over Annie is crazy to me. That came out of nowhere just like the friendship between Liam, Teddy, Dixon and Navid friendship came about in S2. And now with his long-lost brother played by little Michael Jackson, Evan Ross. Sheer crackery. I don’t understand why Evan is even doing TV, he has crafted a nice indie film cred. I do like Liam and Dixon’s little sleepover last week. The way it was shot made it look like they were in bed together and having a couple’s conversation about the day. It was cute. Adrianna is a mess, Naomi continues to be delightful and Teddy…I hope the guy Teddy had a one-night stand with (and who he subsequently attacked and got as good as he gave) doesn’t turn out to be a serious love interest for Teddy. The genesis of the relationship is too strained.

Trevor Donovan who plays Teddy, however, continues to be so a fun read on Twitter.

West Bev Alum, Luke Perry

~ The Vampire Diaries: Still loving the show, unfortunately. I didn’t want to fall victim to it. Nothing much to say other than I didn’t realize how much I missed Damon and Alaric’s interaction until the episode two weeks ago.

Matt Davis’ twitter pic. His Twitter is as out there as Misha’s. Matt goes by Ernesto Riley and tweets the most New Agey, crunchy type things.

L’il J(eremy) continues to be weird. Suddenly he’s Bella and I think he’s torn between Damon (every time they’re together I think it’s going to end with Jeremy begging Damon to bite him and turn him into a vampire. Even though he knows you don’t need to be bitten to turn; he just wants Damon’s mouth on him. And this Tyler and L’il J(eremy) storyline continues to be a tale about two boys falling in love. And Katherine’s no joke.

Taylor Kinney, GOTDAMN!

Older pic of Paul. Is this why he’s anorexic now? He was a bit fuller then?

Supernatural: Not!Sam continues to make me sad. And yes, it may very well be Sam, but I’m calling him Not!Sam because he’s not the Sam I love. For one, Sam doesn’t pay for it.

Not!Sam does..and apparently wipes his butt with the money first

I’m guessing with regards to Castiel, they’re going to involved him because they’re doing a “Friday the 13th: The Series” or “The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo” approach: he’s on a search for the pilfered heavenly items. Good enough.

I loved how “emotional” (for him) Castiel’s “hello” was. He misses the Winchesters. I’m still waiting for those fifty fics titled, “A More Profound Bond” and Sebastian Roche was perfect. I loved him since Showtime’s “Odyssey 5”. I checked his IMDB page and he had a recurring role on “Fringe”. I would’ve liked to see that. I think he’s an absolute wonder. I also realized he’s the ex-husband of Vera Farmiga

who is pregnant again. She just had a baby before “Up in the Air”,

I’d love to see Balthazar again. But my favorite moment?

And whatever it is Jensen is doing while Jared is working out (I’m guessing focusing on the mental image of Jared doing push-ups and the sweaty rolling off his body and lying in bed waiting for Jared to come back so that they can have sweaty post-workout sex), he needs to perhaps do thirty minutes with Jared. Just thirty. I’m not saying he has to become Turbo of American Gladiators like Jared, but c’mon. His lover is making an effort

Boom, boom POW!

Looks about right

Jared loves his boyfriend costar so much that--
he treats Jensen with kids gloves

Jensen is more high-strung than Jared.

Jared: Jensen, what are you doing?!
Jensen: Look pal, you better not tell anyone what you saw us doing in our trailer, you hear me?! Nancy, keep looking the other way. Do you hear me, punk? Now that’s right, you got your hand on my junk, now we’re in this together. Don’t tell on us and I won’t tell anyone that you had your hand down my pants.

*Misha tweeted his picture of Jared today at the Chicago Con saying he (Misha) was judging a beauty pageant. He posted a picture of the winner---that hanger-on Clif. Ugh and Eww.

~Nikita: I think I’m not going to continue with it. I’ll give it another ep. It just didn’t pull me in.

Maggie Q with Stan Lee

~Hellcats: I feel like such a bad Gale fan, I stopped watching it. I think if I didn’t have a conflicting show, I could force myself to watch it but I think I’m watching ABC comedies at that time.

~ It was a mini-Queer as Folk reunion at the recent Garden LEH

It’s been years since Gale and Randy have been photographed together, so I have to use an oldie, but goodie

Bobby with ex-boyfriend Kyan Douglas

*Scott Lowell was last week’s “The Defender”, along with SPN’s Alona Tal (Jo) , J. August Richards (Gunn, “Angel”) and Sam Jones III. It was a fannish free for all.

Here’s Hal at a recent LGBT event.

~Speaking of former costars who are still friends.

The ladies of “Criminal Minds out on the town

Matthew Gray Gubler and Kristin Vangness, at what my friends refer to as the Witch’s House

* Kane did a video for his song “House Rules”, directed by Timothy Hutton. Picture taken by Beth Reisgraf.

*John Stamos tweeted these pics from his “Glee” appearance. His “Full House” costars were along for a visit.

IIRC, this is Jodi Sweetin’s baby Candance is holding

~ The Event: I’m out. It’s boring, it seems awfully convoluted and I hate the time skips. It’s a shame because Jason Ritter is so excited about it.

His tweet to his former “The Class” costar, Jesse Tyler Ferguson

*Jesse Tyler is just the cheerleader, I guess. Here’s his tweet to friend Zachary Quinto

The pic in reference.

*In light of the recent spate of gay teen suicides, which has raised the awareness of teen suicides caused by bullying, writer Dan Savage has come up with an idea for “It Gets Better”. It’s a campaign where people upload videos detailing their struggles and letting others know that it gets better.

Jonathan Bennett. Is he talking about the bullying he endured by Perez Hilton who kept saying he was Matt Dallas’ boyfriend?

The sweet Joe Jonas

~I wonder if Joe got bullied for doing theatre.

Young Joseph

Hark! I hear the rubbing of thighs against tight jeans. You know what that means: It’s Joe Jonas time!

That Ass!

No, Nick, I don’t want your ass

Even if Joe does

Do I need to ask what’s on the front of his pants?

This shouldn’t be as sexy as it is

I’m right there with you, Joe

Well, now I know what he looks like when Martin Berland’s going down on him.

Or his trainer

Joe and the Beard(ed Lady)

*If Joe needs a girlfriend (the ‘hey, let’s go out for Pinkberry’, not ‘sexy times’ one), why not “date” Jordin Sparks? I’m not going to give up on those two. I mean, she’s a perfectly perfect fake girlfriend.

He adores her.

People say that Joe is as flaming as this costume. Those people are cruel.

His sexuality is the elephant in the room

Joe at the dedication of a nursery in his honor

One day Joe will be a dad…and he and his husband will be over the moon

~Joseph Gordon-Levitt lost his older brother, Dan, recently. I felt like I knew Dan because of how much Joe proudly talked about him. Here are some pics Burning Dan and Joe.

*It seems that Joe’s way of dealing with it is doing it communally, like the way Dan lived his life. Joe invited people to post on his site, HitJoeRecords, which Dan co-created. People are posting video tributes and art in remembrance. It’s a lovely thing.

~I leave you with Tom’s pouty, kissable, lickable, biteable lips.
