Gale Harold is Forcing Me to Watch Hellcats...

Sep 16, 2010 09:48

On Wednesday night the CW closed out the Paley Center for Media’s Fall Preview screenings with “Nikita” and “Hellcats”. All along they advertised that they would premiere a returning show as well, but that didn’t happen. Had I known they weren’t screening the returning show, I would’ve asked the VP of the Paley Center (who did the introductions ( Read more... )

Another wonderful report! As always, I love seeing these events through your eyes. I'm so glad you were able to be there, for your sake and ours. I'm very encouraged that they chose Gale to represent the show; Julian must be more than just a recurring character. And he is, of course, beautiful. I've been watching my QAF DVDs all week, remembering all over again how amazing he is.

I hate those autograph hounds. A bunch of the Vancouver ones are on Twitter, and they're all awful. Their entitlement issues are off the chart, and they judge all celebrities solely on whether or not they willingly give them what they want. I think it's a pathetic way to make a living (yes, I judge), and I find their extreme rudeness astounding. [/rant]

I was wondering, is Kevin Murphy super tall? I saw one pic where it looked like he was several inches taller than Gale, and isn't he around 6'2"?

ETA: I linked to this on my journal, that's okay, right? :)

Totally :)

I think so from what Kevin says and Gale. Kevin was even talking about getting Julian connected to the other characters because that's what he loves about bringing the two lives of Marti together.

The one thing I can't do is watch old QAF. It's just too tender for me that it's over. Still, after all this time. It was just a spectacular moment in fannish experience for me.

I'm with you. They're trashy, every stereotype of grubby lizard people. They stand there with REAMS of pictures for signing and have no concern for others who are waiting.

He's tall. Gale is 6'1 (although he doesn't seem that tall) and I would think Kevin is 6'3 or 6'4. I realized how bad I am at gauging height when I found out my coworker who sits next to me is 6'5--he doesn't look like it to me but he is. So Kevin is definitely about 6'3. I was oddly attracted to him. There's something earthy about him. Solid citizen type, not a Hollywood schmoozer.

He does not look that tall on TV. I completely know what you mean about Joel. I saw him at a grocery store once and I kept staring at him because he's super tall. That was messing with my head. Same thing with Jensen Ackles. He looks short on TV and it's compounded by standing next to Jared Padalecki, but once Jared moves away from him it's like, "Wow, he's not pocket sized at all."

When people talk about height I just have to use the hand guide: Raise it, "they're this tall." That's my ruler.
