I have to see Scott Pilgrim, the cast is just too fun to pass up.
It's really excellent. Afterward this woman I had been speaking to in line with her 14-yr old son and his friend asked them what did they think and they said it was the best film they had ever seen, so I asked her and she said it was wonderful. Before she was dubious because she didn't know the comics and wasn't sure it was for her demo, but it's really a fun, fun film.
Actually, they had me at Brandon.
Over the weekend I watched another one of Brandon's never released films "Life is Hot in Cracktown", all for him. The movie was quite good, very tough to watch, but he was so miscast, poor boy. Just imagine him with some dirt on his face---that's it. He was a crack addict and he spoke in slang but still looked/sounded like Superman, but dirty.
Wright looks like a better version of Last Holiday to me.
Oh my word, anything is better than Last Holiday. Wow. Bad.
I am ridiculously excited for the new one! And I've been following Easy A for months, ever since I found out Aly was in it, but I fell in love when I saw that first teaser trailer that had Emma's character spending an entire weekend singing along with the musical card her grandmother sent her. That really made me laugh.
Tron is a wildcard for me. Looks good, but that's what I thought about the original, but maybe now that I'm older I could get it.
That scene in Easy A was great. I didn't expect to like it and I was won over. She's so good.
think people underestimate how smart and savvy he is.
People really think he's Kelso or whoever he played in "Dude, Where's My Car", but he's a husband, father, business man, people should really take in the big picture of his career and who he is.
And thanks for more adorable Justin and Lindsay news. Can they please make more babies now?
I was really happy when the rumor started going around in December that she was pregnant. Maybe in SV's last year when he's around more.

Brandon just embodies Superman, he can't help it. :) There were a couple of times on Chuck where he just took my breath away. I could deal with him turning out to be a bad guy, but when he did that cold, heartless, terrible thing in the season finale, I kind of couldn't even process it. I'm still traumatized!
Oh, yes, Last Holiday was bad. I bought the DVD on sale because someone on my flist recommended it to me as a Christmas movie, and I ended up donating it to the local library. I did watch it all the way to the end, though, because I have loved Queen Latifah forever (I even went to see her in concert when she was playing the county fair circuit, free with the price of admission), and I think LL is delicious.
I love Tom's natural hair, too. That's what made those Weintraub book signing pics so good! I guess the story is that they cut his hair to make him look younger, but the styles were so bad most of the time. S3's Exile was the best hair, the body was unbelievable, and that Jamaican tan didn't hurt either. God, he was smokin' in that episode. *sighs*
