Does Batman Have to Choke a B*tch?

~The Golden Globes nominations

This was my reaction when I read that "The Dark Knight" and Gary Oldman weren’t nominated

I mean, he’s Gary Oldman!

Whoever’s nominated for a Golden Globe, please step forward. Not so fast Aaron.

I’m only surprised by the James Franco nomination for “Pineapple Express”. I don’t get it. I just don’t get that. I’m surprised by Tom Cruise for “Tropic Thunder” only because it was such a biting satire about head honchos, but I guess the Foreign Press loved that.

In the past weeks there has been a slew of “For Your Consideration” ads in the trades and WB threw in pretty much everyone from “The Dark Knight” for consideration. While Morgan and Michael Caine are important to the film, I didn’t think what they had to do stood out. It could be argued that the same goes for Oldman, but he did so much with so little. I watched TDK again last week and it’s a masterpiece that I’m still in awe of and I am intensely dismayed that TDK has had a near shutout. It’s insanity!

~Michael Ausiello speaks to returning “Heroes” writer, Bryan Fuller about his
plans to help the show.

Casting spoiler for Heroes. This one is good.

I get my “Heroes” fix by reading my flist’s and TWOP’s responses to each episode. I think it’s more entertaining than actually watching the show. I even find Milo and Adrian’s relationship

I think this is the weekend trip where Adrian told Milo that they couldn’t “do this” anymore. To make it up to Milo, Adrian offered to carry his luggage. It’s only right.

It looks like he’s contemplating their future. It looks bleak.

~”Lost” is returning. Quite frankly I forgot almost everything that went down with the exception of the vanishing island bit. But I still

And even though Daniel Dae Kim is nowhere to be scene in the photos and is set to do “The King and I” at the Royal Albert Hall, producers still say Jin’s not necessarily dead.

His tats look like Hawaiian islands. Or Dalmatian paw prints.

~A show I’m really enjoying (even though I’ve already missed the second episode) is “Leverage”. I’ve told everyone I know to watch it.

Aldis’ interview with IF Magazine

*Aldis talks a bit about SPN.

Question: Now I want to ask you about the two episodes of Supernatural that you did. Because we run a smaller site for it off of FanBolt. Huge fan base for that show, so they'll kill me if I don't ask you (Laughs). I was wondering if you could talk a little bit about your experience with those two episodes.

Aldis: Supernatural was amazing. We shot in Vancouver for a couple months. First of all, Jared and Jensen, those two guys are great. Those are two good guys, my buddies, and I actually think we are going to do a convention in... I think it's in March for Supernatural so that is pretty awesome. It's my first one.

They made fan cards and trading cards, and it's kind of cool. Supernatural was a great experience. Vancouver was cold and rainy, so we would be sitting outside shooting until 2 or 3 in the morning in the cold, freezing rain. That wasn't so fun (Laughs), but everything else was great. The set was great, the production was great and even though it was a little rainy, Vancouver was a great place to be. It's a great city, it's beautiful, and I had a lot of fun out there.

I was out there playing a little superhero for about two seconds when Jared and I, we had a huge fight scene, and I got to punch him and knock him back 10 or 15 feet, so we had a good time. It was my first time ever dying too, so I was a little nervous about that.

Q: You had a dramatic exit there though.

Aldis: (Laughs) They shot me 6 or 7 times, and they wouldn't stop shooting. I'm like "Okay guys, I'm dead!"

But I thank you guys for the support with Supernatural and all I can say is carry that on to Leverage. We have a good show on our hands and please support us. Check us out.

~At the time when I heard that tickets for the NKOTB concert in LA was $75, I blew I off because I love them with all my heart, but I just don’t drop that kind of money down for a concert. Now I’m kicking myself because all the reports from the concerts have been amazing. It seems they’re really doing the damn thing and people are loving it. So next time New Kids…next time.
