~Countdown
So this small, indie flick named “The Dark Knight” is opening on Friday. You’ve probably not heard about it because there has been virtually no advertisements or articles or publicity stunts connected to the film at all.

For some reason I have never really connected to Batman. I appreciate the character for his place in the DC universe, but I don’t gravitate towards him like I have for Supes. It even comes down to fics. When I read fics I see Clark and Lex in my mind eye: of course they look suspiciously like Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum. But Bruce/Batman? I can’t see him. If I’m forced, I think I can imagine Ian Somerhalder as Bruce Wayne. This Bruce Wayne would have to wear lifts, but I would go with Ian. How he played Adam Knight was very close to how I envision Bruce’s attitude. Plus Adam and Lex had piano sex and that’s just comic canon right there.

Anyhoo, the Joker’s countdown clock has zeroed out
and we’re just waiting for the Dark Knight to stop the mayhem. While we wait for The Dark Knight to finish finding out all the ways Robin is the Boy Wonder,

I'm reccing some Clex fics that feature Batman.

The very first Bruce/Clark fic I’d ever read. It’s implied Bruce/Clark, but there is Brex. It’s angsty and poignant, both in regards to Clark and Lex, but Clark and Bruce as well. Triptych by Aklani and the sequel, Tierce
