Important note for all the Supernatural attendees: Jensen and Jared’s autograph session will be in the WB booth (#4329) on Saturday from 5pm to 6pm. The Sunday 12:30-1:15pm autograph session for SPN will be the producers/writers only. At 1:00 to 1:30pm Jared will be doing the “Friday the 13th” panel.

So this small, indie flick named “The Dark Knight” is opening on Friday. You’ve probably not heard about it because there has been virtually no advertisements or articles or publicity stunts connected to the film at all.
For some reason I have never really connected to Batman. I appreciate the character for his place in the DC universe, but I don’t gravitate towards him like I have for Supes. It even comes down to fics. When I read fics I see Clark and Lex in my mind eye: of course they look suspiciously like Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum. But Bruce/Batman? I can’t see him. If I’m forced, I think I can imagine Ian Somerhalder as Bruce Wayne. This Bruce Wayne would have to wear lifts, but I would go with Ian. How he played Adam Knight was very close to how I envision Bruce’s attitude. Plus Adam and Lex had piano sex and that’s just comic canon right there.

So this small, indie flick named “The Dark Knight” is opening on Friday. You’ve probably not heard about it because there has been virtually no advertisements or articles or publicity stunts connected to the film at all.
For some reason I have never really connected to Batman. I appreciate the character for his place in the DC universe, but I don’t gravitate towards him like I have for Supes. It even comes down to fics. When I read fics I see Clark and Lex in my mind eye: of course they look suspiciously like Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum. But Bruce/Batman? I can’t see him. If I’m forced, I think I can imagine Ian Somerhalder as Bruce Wayne. This Bruce Wayne would have to wear lifts, but I would go with Ian. How he played Adam Knight was very close to how I envision Bruce’s attitude. Plus Adam and Lex had piano sex and that’s just comic canon right there.
