Tommy Spotting (maybe), Upfronts and Other Random Things...
For about two months now I’ve been hanging around the Smallville message board on IMDB.com (for some reason it never occurred to me to visit it before this). Largely there’s a bunch of supreme dumbasses over there.

So. Dumbasses who can’t possibly have two brain cells to rub together so I have no idea how they have the ability to turn on a computer let alone post. But sometimes there’s something that comes out of that vacuous pit that makes it worthwhile. Kindasorta. Who knows if this is true or not. I thnk it is.

Last night, my mum's boyfreind had to pick up Tom welling and take him to the boat he's the captain of. Apparently the owner's some millionaire that owns a film company as well as 50 other things and Tom Welling was a guest at one of his parties, so he had to keep him entertained. I thought it was quite cool, apparently he's really nice.
People went on to ask the name of the millionaire. The post-er replied that it’s Ron Tudor. Quick googlesearch. Ron Tudor is a film financier whose company just acquired ThinkFilm (which is currently in financial straits that has caused a David O’Russell film starring Jake Gyllenhaal to stop shooting).
There you go, final update, that is the right Ron Tudor, who apparently keeps his name out of most things, but I have the actual truth now which is dissapointingly less random and less cool.
But TW's been a guest on the boat for the last 4 or 5 days in Cannes for the Cannes film festival. Tom's been one of the few staying on the boat and the party in question included Mick Jagger and 'someone from something called the OC who wasn't allowed on at first because they weren't on the 'list'' according to my mum. And loads more names that i've forgotten or she didn't recognise/remember.
Her Boyfreind's been busy looking after them 17 hours a day and even though he was expecting to come home to england today as Ron Tudor's left, Tom Welling's decided to stay two more days so he can't. He's also been driving guests too and from the airport to get them to their private flights and although there've been a few uptight guests, 'that superman guy's' been very nice.
Someone has asked if Jamie was with him, but there hasn’t been a reply yet.
