most christmassy icon remaining
i am finally dechristmassing the house. yes, i know. believe me, i know. whatever.
i started yesterday with the first tree and deornamented it.
today i got pretty much the entire downstairs taken down and packed up and part of the upstairs started.
all i have left to do is deornament the upstairs tree, get TWD's help for the ledge/balcony thingy (because it's ladder-work and i don't want to do that by myself), and get TWD to delight the downstairs tree and banister (de-light, rather). he's the lights and soundman around here.
so one more day! i swear it took more than three days to put it all up, but i'm determined to get it down and finished packed up tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest. it will not still be up by March 1st!!
it's not a record though, sadly. my college roommie and i took ours down over spring break once. this year, well, it just happened.
i did get a few springy things up, like a door wreath and some other things i like to have around in the springtime but i figure at this rate, it's almost time to break out the halloween boxes and start THAT. ;P
