I'm a girl???
So I found myself at the mall on Saturday going clothes shopping with my sister-in-law Dawn. I loathe malls and I loathe clothes shopping. I never tried on so many clothes in my life. I was so worn out when we left and I started to get realy cranky because I had a headache and hadn't eaten anything yet. BUT....it was awesome! Dawn has a sense of style...something I have NEVER had and I tried on things I normally wouldn't have. I love all the clothes I bought and I'm just so excited. I bought enough basically for a new mini-wardrobe. I've always worn blah t-shirts and jeans but now I'm in actual tailored stuff LOL. Imagine.
Then yesterday I went back to Dawn's house and we went to Target where I got eye makeup :P I hate putting that on, but the stuff Dawn told me to get isn't that bad. Hmm...stylish clothes, makeup...you'd think I was a girl or something :P
And I got my hair cut yesterday in exchange for a chair massage. I think I got the better part of the deal, but I'll take it! I love it too! It's the best haircut I've ever had. I've had a lot of people commenting on my appearance a lot this morning so I guess the change is pretty drastic! I can tell now the clothes I was wearing before was making me look bigger than I am. I remember some topic on Oprah about wearing clothes that will instantly make you lose 10 pounds. That's pretty much what this did. I'm just so happy.
OK...so now the big question. WHY did I do all this shopping? Hmmm??? Why the sudden need for a change of wardrobe and a new haircut? Could it be I'm speed dating tomorrow? LOL!!! I am! I can't believe I did this, but I signed up for speed dating. I can't believe I did it. Talk about out of my comfort zone!!! I think that's why I did it. I need to get more confident and be able to .. not be anti-social I guess? Although now I'm freaking out because there's mingling before it starts. ACK! lol. Dawn and a friend are going to be at the restaurant with me. Just eating there in the same building...not right with me. It will be good for my mental state to know someone is there I know lol.
I stayed up until 4:30am Saturday night/Sunday morning leveling my White Mage to 36. I can finally teleport for gil! Yeah baby. Of course the big bucks are in the next 3 teleports. I plan to earn money from the 3 teles I have now to buy better gear and spells I need. I want White Mage to 40 then I'm stopping for a bit. Then I shall teleport and make money for a while and then get back to leveling my Red Mage. I miss my Red Mage character so much. Can't wait. :-B
