Any help would be appreciated
Just got this email from my boss
Our cleaning guy, Richard was mugged on the way home on Tuesday night. He was laying in a vacant parking lot unconscious for 6 hours before someone came along and found him on Wednesday morning. Right now he is in the hospital waiting to undergo surgery to wire his jaw. They know he has a concussion, a fractured neck and apparently his jaw is broken. I would like to take up a little collection for Richard to get him a Grocery card, as he will be out of work for a while. For those of you who may have never met Richard, just ask anyone who has spoken to him and you will hear what a sweet wonderful guy he is. He is in Desert Sam at Dobson and the 60, and as soon as he is feeling up to company his dad is going to let me know. I know it would mean the world to Richard to know how much he is appreciated here. I will pass around an envelope and please check your name off when you have seen it.
Richard used to be my neighbor. He just recently moved because his bike was stolen around the same time mine was, and his apartment was robbed a couple months back. He's been having a really crappy run of bad luck and this is the worst. He really is the sweetest, nicest kid! He's 19 or 20 (I forget) but to have all this happen to him in such a short time breaks my heart.
If anyone can help out, even with a small donation, that would be awesome.
