HAHAH!! I've developed a bit of germophobia myself, lately --but there are ways around it aside from bleach. There are non-chlorine bleaches that use a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution that will disinfect your laundry to some extent --and I've heard that it's possible to get a 5% solution, which is much more effective, and, I believe, used in some hospitals. I am a bit phobic about disinfecting laundry, and towels in particular. I've read that the best disinfectant/bleaching agent for your laundry is the sun --this may be true, but I see sunlight maybe 50 days a year, here... and I do laundry about 300 days a year. I really think those numbers need to be swapped. =D

You might need to start avoiding MSG, Donna, in an active way. One isn't truly 'allergic' to MSG, one rather builds up a sensitivity, much like some folks do to bee stings. The first bee sting won't hurt you, the tenth might give you a headache, and the twentieth can kill you. It's the same with MSG. If it gives you migraines, it isn't something to fuck around with. You have a serious sensitivity to it. Even a slight sensitivity can apparently kill an asthmatic person.

I'll check around for the dairy --it's funny, I just got off the phone with my mother a while ago, and she suggested the same thing; that I find a local farmer to get meat, dairy and eggs from. We've already started scoping out local farmer's markets for fruit and vegetables. I'd love to get away from QFC and Fred Meyer altogether. Thanks for the suggestion!

...and please, don't eat Chinese food. =(
