Promises
Our anniversary was Tuesday, but we agreed that the Dave Matthews Band concert and weekend would be our gift to each other since it was a pretty expensive venture. I had actually sent e-mails to his mom with a few ideas I had for a gift before Dan and I had come to this agreement. When Dan came home with a beautiful card and red roses, I felt bad that I didn't have anything other than a card for him. We went to Olive Garden because we both got home pretty late and didn't want to have to deal with making reservations at PF Changs. Dan's parents gave us a gift card , so we plan to be more gluttonous than time would allow on a weekday night. We're going this weekend, and I'll give him something I was saving because we weren't supposed to get anything. . . he's a fibber, and my new ring is beautiful
