So I bought a car last weeks right? A 1993 Honda accord. The only thing that was wrong with it was it had 2 bad rings. THATS WAS IT!!! So we thought anyway...I took it to brookings and it ran great..until we got into Brookings...About 80 miles from Grants pass.
The transmision died, the engine blew and everything just basicly died...I bought one lemon of a car... So to help me out with my little delema Jon old buddies from Brookings say they'll fix my car for me. There machanics and trust them. When they take a look at the car they come back with there heads shaking. The car is dead and it's not going anywhere. So I stand there crying my eyes out into Jons arms. We try for a week to get it running only for me to be a a little poorer and still own a broken car. Travis(a friend of Jon) Sells me another car so I can make it home.
A 1968 Pontiac Ventura with 49,000 original miles. Original engin,tanny,paint, interior, everything...for 200 bucks. Now I'm looking at them like there crazy...this was NOT my honda accord. And I wanted my car back right now damnit! I bought the car anyway...
Turned out they don't make the parts for the car anymore. Turns out it's a vinage classic thats worth a hellofalot more then I paid for it.
SCORE!!!! It's also in perfect condition..it just needs a new paint job.
I think I got the better deal here...
