Doug isn't sparkly. He isn't sexy. He is just an average teenage guy, maybe a little bit on the pudgy side, who accidentally got turned into a vampire. All he wants is to find some nice goth girl who will let him drink enough of her blood to keep him going, and maybe be his girlfriend, too. Fat Vampire is one of the funniest books I've read in quite some time. It takes all those teen supernatural romances and turns them upside down. Great for vampire haters, or fans. Best for high school students or adults.
