Tiny Tyrant
Lewis Trondheim & Fabrice Parme

Translated from the French, comes a fun collection of short comic stories about a bratty little kid, who happens to also be the king of his own country.  Because no one dares to say no to King Ethelbert, he is just about the most spoiled kid on the planet.  He orders giant ice cream sundays, only to eat one bite.  He tries to kidnap Santa Claus so he can eat dessert all the time.  He replaces all the children in his country with robot versions of himself, as a "favor" to their parents.  He is demanding, wiley, and the very embodiment of what many kids might dream up if they were given unlimited power over those around them.  This will appeal to everyone from 3rd to 7th grade, plus any adults who grew up reading Richie Rich comics.  Also could be good for reluctant readers...I just wish the font and pictures weren't quite so small.
