Vampire Diaries ~ wow.
Spoilers, major awesomeness and picspam in the cut. In my opinion there was some perfection in this episode.
That scene towards the end... with Elena and Damon in her bedroom... Perfection. The dialogue. The tiny little nod of his head before he told her. The kiss on the forehead. The tear as he compelled her. He just proved that he does deserve her, and she won't remember. My angst-y, romantic heart loves everything about the scene. This is why Vampire Diaries is my number one show right now.
I wonder why Ian's eyes look more green close up, but from afar they look a bright blue? They are gorgeous, no matter the color.
Did anyone else notice the Supernatural-ness of the road trip part of the epi?
I know going in that Elena will be saved. That's a given, but somehow the creative people still managed to have me on the edge of my seat. I felt like shouting at the boys to hurry up and get into that house because of the sharp editing that was done. And the way the two other vampires showed fear and Elena picking up on it, ratcheting up her own fear. Great storytelling.
I feel like a bit of a pervert (how old is he anyway?), but holy heck, Steven McQueen knows how to give good hug. I want one.
More... I need my fix. When will it be Thursday again! This show seriously brightens my week. I had a craptastic day, but I'll be going to bed with a smile on my face now.
