Drive Fast: a Chuck and Blair season one fanmix

It's been a good four years since I posted anything on here and I'm not entirely sure anybody still even really goes on LiveJournal at all anymore, but I made this mix to post on Tumblr and I figured I'd post it here as well.

So this baby started out as a little EP for all of my Chuck/Blair feels as of late. It slowly progressed into an 18-track monster centered entirely on season one; I thought I would do a short mix for each season, but the way things are going, it may take me until season 6 is done to be finished. But! It does feel nice to be fangirling again: I've always loved fanmixes.  They combine three of my favorite things; fandoms, music, and art.

A lot of these songs go along with specific scenes in my mind, but a fair few of them don't, instead going with the general timeline of the season. They chronicle their (unplatonic) relationship which starts with intrigue, slowly building to obsession and denial to angst, and finally reaching a happy reconciliation at the end (I pretended that the end of 1.18 didn't happen for the purposes of this mix).

Anyway, without further ado:
