My husband decided to audition for an upcoming play (All Shook Up) at one of our local theatres. He went in planning to read for an older character (the dad), but once he sang, they had him read for the lead too. The lead happened to be a younger character and all the girls that were there to audition for the leading lady part were just so young in comparison to Brian. Brian talked with the director a little bit and they discussed how they had to match everyone up and all that stuff. In the end, they told him he could call today after 10 am and they would let him know if he had been cast or not.

I woke him up this morning (we slept in after taking the kids to school, we were out late) and told him to call....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
He was cast as the father (the part he originally planned to read for) and he is sooooo excited. It is one of the lead roles and I can't even explain how incredibly proud I am of him. Yes, expect to hear lots more bragging from me.
