Now for a real update...
Whew...nothing like the feeling after getting everything accomplished that you needed to in a day...and today was one of those that had a lot!!
I FINALLY got my financial aid check today, and went to Nextel to get my phone ordered. It should be here by Friday...YAY! Then I went to the computer lab and looked up all the necessary info that I'm going to need for the Joint Committee meeting Monday night. I found some good stuff. I then went to Food World and Troy Pets to pick up job applications for Steve. I think I'm going to be able to get him on at TP...I hope so because he really hates his job and takes a lot of racist BS from his manager. He's coming over tomorrow afternoon to get me to help him do a resume for TP because they don't have applications to fill out. I think we're also going to study for our Western Civ. test we have in a couple of weeks.
I talked to the "friend" today and everything is cool. She admitted to probably saying it, and blamed it on her drunkeness, which, if you know this person, that IS a valid excuse, so, whatever...we're cool.
Jamal randomly called me tonight. He's so weird sometimes...he calls, and really has nothing to say, and then he's like, "hey, I gotta go, call you back" and then he never does. Hrmm...maybe it's a Que thing...I don't know. He's upset that he doesn't get to play tomorrow night, they are afraid that he'll tear his stiches open. Poor Smoov...I thought I was gonna go crazy...he's really gonna have it bad. On that note, I'm so upset that I don't get to go to the game tomorrow. This is the first home game that I have missed since my 7th grade year of junior high. Yeah...I like football...and I'm going to go crazy tomorrow night wondering what's going on. But maybe we'll be so busy I won't have time to think about it.
The Sigmas are having a party in Sartain after the game, which is probably where I'll end up when I get off work. I might go by Shauna and Devon's, too. They are supposed to be having some friends from out-of-town there and want me to meet them. I probably won't stay long, though, because Steve wants me to go to the party with him, and I think Anna wants to go, too.
