For All My D-9 Peoples...

WHO AM I?

Who am I?
I am the Pink & Green,
The Blue and White,
The Crimson and Creme...So fresh and so clean.
I am your blue and gold,
My stories untold, I am a legacy to unfold.
I am the Ivy leaf,
The African Violet,
The White Rose,
The Yellow-Tea rose.
I am an elephant, strong and elegant.
I am different social movements:
Literacy, women’s suffrage, and equality for all black students.
I am the blueprint of what my founders stood,
I am a lady of Finerwomanhood.
I came on the scene not a moment too late,
I was born in 1908.
From the Pink and the Green came the Crimson and Creme...
Many argue and say it was my attitude,
But the truth is, I was lead by Fortitude.
The days after many said that there were plenty,
But oh the glorious day in 1920...
To all that still don’t know me, you must digress,
I am a woman of Greater Service, Greater Progress.
I am the Skee-Wee in your Z-Phi, that Ooo-oop’s for your Eee-Yip.
I am your mother, sister, wife and daughter, I’m definitely nobody’s Bitch.
All together, I stand for style, grace, character, integrity, and all that I should.
Who am I?
Who am I?
I am Sisterhood.
