30 days of SPN Meme: Day 9
Today was nice. Until it got a little stale. My friend Alethea came and picked me up a little after 1pm to go have a picnic by the Lake and play games. Maybe fly my kites. I've made a huge mess in my room, trying to find the darn kite! But I'm going to use it as a good excuse to recycle/throw-away some stuff that's just cluttering up the space. Anyways. We bought Subway for lunch, brought soda, water, cookies, and brownies. We found a nice shady spot by at/on The Point (a mini peninsula on the lake in Hyde Park, popular place). And it was a really nice afternoon. She introduced me to this French game that involved cards and had to do with driving, racing to get 1000 pts first in each round. It was funny and fun. Then I introduced her to Scattegories, which is a word game. Then we read some Terry Prachett. Had dinner at her place. And then went to my place by 8:30 so I could give insulin to Romeo. Lastly we watched some Castle. I'm way behind, in the middle of S2. Idk. I love Nathan Fillion. And the other characters are fun most of the time too. But it's so very procedural. We watched 2 episodes, and that was definitely enough. I was really excited to see that Rider Strong ('Shawn' from "Boy Meets World", among other roles) had a tiny guest starring role in one of the episodes I watched tonight! I think he's sooo cute!
I think I just felt like the evening was coming to a close before she decided she should go home. I'm tired and wasn't really in the mood for Castle.
Well, tomorrow my Mom's planned a family day. We're going to the Aquarium! I'm excited. But I know that my middle sister would rather go to a different museum. However, my Mom's got a membership she wants to use.
Day 9 ~ My Favorite Dean death scene:
This is a hard one for me! I wish there were fewer options! And I kind of wish I could use the same scene I used for yesterday's part of the meme. I'm having a hard time choosing one right now. Maybe I'm too freakin' tired right now to give this post any serious thought. But here I am. I like the first time he dies in "Mystery Spot" as well. Plus the epic one at the end of S3. I guess I'll choose that last one. Dean's bloody, loud, horrific death scene in the S3 finale. I love it b/c it's the culmination of the whole season's build up, and I love it for how he comes back in the following episode. Idk. I'm feeling lame. Hopefully I'll do better with tomorrow's post.
