Paradox Rule

Jul 11, 2008 04:01

The nature of the game is that canonically established time travelers will at times have multiple versions of themselves existing at the same point in time. Each respective canon has their own response to such a situation. The rule of Dawning Night is...

Don't touch yourself. The world will not collapse if you do, but anyone who does, unshielded, will be subject to a great amount of pain, as the universe attempts to cope with two of the same thing existing the same space. Very unsavory. The details of what the pain will consist of--aside from lasting only as long as the physical contact, and the strong degree--will be up to each player involved.

NOTE: Alternate versions, such as the alternate universe Rose and Jack, are not subject to this. They are distinctly separate beings from their counterparts in this universe.
