Dawning Night revamp/Roll Call!
So Dawning Night has been down for the count lately, but no longer!
We are definitely back! Sleeker, better, and this time we plan to stick around. For the sake of game and plot integrity, we are resetting everything involving the Rebels, Petrelli, and the Company This includes everything their plots were tied to.
We've deleted all relevant threads to clear things up. As it stands now, there are a few threads left hanging which may be deleted over the next month, unless the respective players Comment here saying they'll be playing
We shall start advertising for the RPG again once we get this settled--but personal promotion from any of the members is wholly appreciated, as well.
There's more than just a reboot at foot, however. Along with it comes a few new features we hope will make things work better this time around.
Firstly, and this is most important: All canon characters not in play are now Critical NPCs, available for interaction with by anyone. All except a few plot critical characters are out there to be used however you need to get to the other players or advance your own plots.
Second: This time around, things will be focused on the big world plot. Last time, inter-personal plots among too many of the key characters bogged down and nullified almost any plot potential, and in the end killed the RPG. While we will not be instituting any rules against it as it stands, the critical characters will not be so deeply embroiled in themselves this time around.
Third: Two new fandoms have been added to this crossover. Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis. All of their characters are now open to be played, but bear in mind that the year is 2012, and their seasons are thus set late season 10 and season 3
In the future, as the RPG grows, we will occasionally hold votes to open up more fandoms.
