Christmas meme
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Homemade wrapping---anything from fabric scraps to the kids' artwork to decorated/stamped art paper.
2. Real tree or artificial? Artificial---the needles of a real tree are a pain in the ass with Rufus the Wonder Beagle and Lilah the Crazy Assed Kitty around.
3. When do you put up the tree? Right about now. We'll be putting it up tomorrow.
4. When do you take the tree down? 1st week for January.
5. Do you like egg nog? Love it.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? Everything. I just like opening stuff.
7. Do you have a nativity scene? Nope. We celebrate Yule/Winter Solstice/Longest Night, not the birth of Christ.
8. Hardest person to buy for? My mother.
9. Easiest to buy for? My kids, Charlotte specifically.
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail.
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Coach wallet.

13. When do you have your Christmas shopping finished? Dec 19 or so.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Yes.
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Macaroons.
16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? I like soft white twinkling (NOT blinking) ones, but well, I got kids and they did the colors.
17. Favorite Christmas song? Oh, I love so many of them! I Saw Three Ships was the first that came to mind.
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Stay home. We do usually travel about town visiting during the holiday weeks.
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeers? Probs.
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Well, our main holiday is Longest Night, so we do most of the family gifts then. While we don't do the Christ stuff, Santa does come so there are stocking gifts and lots of toys on Christmas morning.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? Commercialism and cynicism.
