Its About Time!
I got a job! Finally! Not babysitting...Im in an actual classroom. I was nervous for my interview, but it wasnt bad at all. I wore grown up clothes haha...I was hired on the spot!
I will be a teachers aide, I can not teach since I did not get my degree in education but in psych...Anyways since I do have a psych degree my main job will be working with a 3rd grade girl in the classroom who is learning disabled and has a lot of anxiety. Whe I was younger I had anxiety attacks in school and missed alot of school so I told the Principal that I could empathize with the girl. I will also be working in the classroom in general too.
So I am excited and its one of those things were if I get certified (I plan on taking one or two grad classes starting in Dec. around here) the I could maybe get a job there...or its experience in a real class to finally add to a resume to get a job somewhere else (like NC seriously. But the point is im finally on path to somewhere and it feels good. I may still babysit for the twins a couple of days after work (i only work 9-2) just to have cash in my pocket, build up the funds!!!
Okay well Camping tomorrow...so excited! Its going to be a creepy weekend
