to protest or not to protest
So today as I'm pulling into work...I see 3 news vans...Oh that's right! Congress woman Melissa Bean is getting protested today...*Slaps forhead* I compleatly forgot...where's my stupid camera when something interesting happens!!! (You'll basically have to settle for crappy phone cam shots through the windows of work).
See Melissa Bean's office is in the same building as us and the Woodfield Tourist office. Only thing is that We are in the front of the buildings with a ton of windows while she is in the back...so...Basically all the shots that the media will take of the building will show my work place...and probably me printing.
Which means of course...I have no makeup on and my hair is crap-a-lish-ious! Alieen's comment was "of course I would have to wear my brightest shirt to work today"...and it was a pretty bright pink I must say.
Well the protest didn't actually start till 11am but the vans were their staking out their spots at 730am. Alieen, Chris, and I all moved our cars over to the main K&M parking...just in case.

Our first protest...even if we didn't participate.
It was really more interesting to watch then anything really...the protesters showed up, didn't do anything other then chant, speek, wave banners...really quite peaceful. Several little kids and babies were toted around...they were there for a long time...I really couldn't get good shots because they stayed up front infront of the trees.
It was really funny because Mr Chris was like "I hope they get the Spotlight sign in the footage"...I found it quite funny that a protest was was viewed as a publicity for a company
