so an update from me! been a while since i had a real one XD
Guess who has a date on Tuesday! hehehe. wow i haven't been on a date in a while though and I am so super nervous! but I mentioned the guy a few weeks ago, he's my friend's friend who tried to set me up with him and blah blah long story, but tonight he and my friends and I all went to a haunted house (which was super fun but not really that scary, it was way too crowded to be really scary) which was a lot of fun! I hadn't been to a haunted house in forever, and even though it really wasn't all that scary I still did my fair share of screaming XD But yeah, this guy has been interested in me for a while I guess and we've been getting to know each other the last few weeks and he gave me flowers today b/c it was sweetest day (which I totally didn't even know that was today!) and asked me if I wanted to go to this coffee shop on Tuesday night. So that should be interesting!
and in other words: tonight's Bleach english dub FAILED! It failed miserably. I haven't minded the dub so far, it's no where near as good as the sub but for a dub it hasn't been bad. But tonight's ep bugged the crap out of me. Urahara's voice I can't STAND. It has absolutely no life, he sounds like some stoned loser or something. And what's also getting me is that they're calling him 'Kisuke'. I already know that they're going to call Ishida 'Uryuu' and this makes me wonder what they'll do with future characters. They'll probably call Matsumoto 'Rangiku' and Hinamori 'Momo' and Hitsugaya 'Toushirou' ::gags:: why the freaking crap can't they keep the name that they're called in the original! It's not that confusing, Americans aren't THAT stupid! They completely took out Kon's 'nice angle' line and the only reason that bugs me is because that is so Kon's personality and makes me wonder what else they'll cut out in his future lines. They completely ruined the whole Kai name thing, having Kon think he should be called 'Mod' instead...I think the only thing I actually liked about this episode was Kon's voice, Quinton Flynn is nailing his spastic personality and I think he's doing a really good job. But the rest of it was very very disappointing
