I buy and give a lot of Christmas gifts each year. The more I spend on each gift, the more thought and planning that go into gift selection. Most gifts I buy will cost $75 or less.
Here is my question to my LJ Friends - For Christmas 2008, if you were receiving a gift that cost less than $75 would you prefer to receive:
A: A practical, useful gift, that shows I know you and your habits. Like a game or movie that I know you want, or a pair of nursing shoes in your size because you ARE a nurse. Or a sweater or bathrobe or some such.
B: A special gift that is something you love, but that I know you prolly would not buy for yourself in these economic times. Like a perfume gift basket, Godiva chocolates, $50 Wolford hosiery for my dear friend who loves them, Omaha Steaks (who have INCREDIBLE deals right now), etc.
C: Cash or gas cards, or gift cards from Supermarkets, Walmart or Target.
